3rd Revision: thanks for the feedback guys!

-Not a competitive list, just super fluffy fun-

Kharn: Allows zerkers to be troop choices instead of elites
in a primary detachment

Dataslate restrictions: 4 units of CSM & 4 units of Zerkers

Plan: Rolls of 8 for charging doubles my Attacks, gotta get close
Any 6s To Hit grants an additional attack

With this list the Berkz are protected by armor as they make their advance, LR and Predators provide TL Lascannons to prevent my opponent's vehicles from interrupting my advance. CSMs (fodders) will advance and
try their best to weaken squads and charge in for for assault, giving my rhinos and LR a chance to advance. Predators will seek cover and attack with their powerful range to disable/destroy vehicles

If you are new then I think it is fair to tell you that CSM, and to a greater extent Khorne berserkers, are not competitive.

CSM might get an update in the not too distant future, but that is only a rumour at this time.

Regarding your list the biggest problem I can see is the huge lack of anti tank weaponry.
Meltaguns, meltabombs and other such tools are all vital to having a tac list.

I think this formation probably needs to be at 1500 to be a bit more effective. You want an assault transport for at least kharn, and mix in enough anti tank and rhinos to compete

Hi,
I think you have too many small units.
5 Beserkers piling out of a landraider is not very scary (5 with Kharn is).

I think you need to combine some of the units.

Two landraider can cause problems for unprepared opponents at the 1500pt level. However some will rub their hands together and sort them out very quickly.

You have put some assault weapons into the CSM units which is good. I think you are lacking a bit in long range (and anti-air). For a few points more than one of your CSM units you could get havocs armed to the teeth (and horns) with autocannons, or a lascannon'/autocannon predator. To give you some longer range potential.

Having a bit more long ranger fire power may also allow you to wipe out things that can hurt the landraiders, leaving them free to drop Kharn off.

Unless I miss my guess, since Kharns butcherhorde is a dataslate, you would also need to take a CAD to get the Land Raiders (the rhinos could be had as dedicated transports for the butcherhoard IIRC). If you're going unbound anyway, why not just have kharn and some 'zerkers in land raiders instead of wasting points on small, easy to kill footslogging melee infantry, at which point, you're not unbound anymore, since you can easily fit kharn and 3 units of zerkers and 3 raiders in at 1500 while being battleforged.

The butcherhorde is bad and it should feel bad. If you REALLY must run the horde, do it all on foot and run forward screaming blood for the blood god with all 8 units bulked out. You'll probably still die to a man before reaching combat, but at least it's amusing this way.

Hmmm I guess Kharn's Butcherhorde only works best in games with higher points, I foresee my units being obliterated without any good range and firepower.

I'll probably only field this for narratives and crazy missions, would be fun to see how other armies hold against a horde of zerkers.

Best way to do it would be to infiltrate them imo.

Some of the special characters let you do it.
