Watched the 3rd report. Pretty good stuff for people learnng the game watching the missions played. I can use how they explain things to teach the GF. One error I did see is that when the AD Commando critted The Augicile in the back he rolled for armor saves. Its a auto wound, no roll for the crit if he didnt have a ARO like dodge, and I dont think you can if they are not in LOS
Crits - you never roll armour saves for. You take the wound automatically. (If you crit with a monofilament, you KILL your target automatically - as the single wound with mono WILL take it straight to DEAD).
I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I enjoyed this series because it flows, and makes sense.
MWG are dreadful at reports as a rule though. For people that Work So We Can Play, they should really play more.
Agreed. I rather enjoy their batreps, but being a noob to infinity (meaning: never played a single game yet) even I am catching mistakes they make.
However, the batreps are good to see overall how the game works and what to take into consideration when playing. This ain't 40K!
MWG actually responded to the critical hit issue in a video comment. Apparently the rules for crits are tucked away in a non obvious spot in the back of the O:I book. The people doing the report missed them the first time they glanced through the rules and only found out about it after they finished the missions.
They knew crits are supposed to be more lethal in the full game, but since they didn't see that in the O:I rulebook they didn't do it in their reports so they wouldn't confuse anybody.
Like watching other people play video games (badly) while blathering about nothing in particular? Check out my Youtube channel: joemamaUSA!

Crits are indeed extremely powerful or painful (depending on perspective), and I guarantee there will always be one person within a gaming group who seems to get 4-5 of them in a game, despite the odds on getting that being astronomical!
