So I'm looking at this thing and I'm thinking it's pretty good with the scorpius weapon, especially when combined with the Keylek Relic (which gives Blast weapons Ignore Cover).

So what we are looking at is a single 48" S8 Ap3 Ignore Cover blast that, when stationary fires an extra D3. That handily instagibs Crisis, Death Company and other T4 models while making 2+ (e.g. MANz) panic a bit.

Is there a reason a lot of lists don't use it? Is the Relic Sicaran just too good to not include?

Its very good and some etremely competitive tournament lists use it. Its particularly good for IDing summon seer in his mantle of the laughing god.

Probably also due to many places not allowing forgeworld, but yes, I suspect the ability to tell wave serpents to go away is valued highly enough to put the scorpius into second place, and when you can only have 1...

I assume it's not because the sicaran is a lot better than the scorpius, but because the sicaran with schism of mars is a lot better compared to the scorpius with keylek. And you only get 1 legacy under 2k.
