Lets say typhus is out front of some zombie cultist, he rolls a 1 failing his 2+ armor save. Can a zombie now roll a look out sir for that failed armor save on a +2? effectivly giving Typhus a +2, +2?

Nope, it's LOS first

It says you can cut edges when the models you can allocate wounds to have identical saves with the model you're gona LOS from. For example, when Typhus is with termies, you can first make armor saves and than LOS.

'Look Out, Sir' rolls are made when a wound is allocated to a non-vehicle character and wound allocation occurs before saves are attempted, though yes it does say it is quicker to roll saves before allocating wounds if all models in a unit share the same save.
