Now I used to watch the original series. (The First season and second season only) But I enjoyed the first season, and hated the second season, the third and fourth season I won't get into.
But I have some floron hope that maybe they can get their mojo back.
Anyone excited or interested in this?
I mean I used to love heroes, hell I love heroes season 1. And think it was probably the best season every put on TV.
I am hoping we will get to the action, and not get a constant build up like in most of the seasons.
though I know why the series suffered was because of the writer's strike that happened quite a while ago. That made this show and many others (including supernatural) fall from grace.
I don't know if I am excited or just tired of television. As I gave up on TV after season 5 of supernatural.

I'd like to be excited about this but the truth is they blew it sooo quickly in the second season, I don't see any reason to think they won't do that again.
I know that product placement is a fact of life, and that a network television shows main purpose is to sell advertisements, and I accept that. But, FFS, be subtle when working it into the show. If I recall in the second season, really early, the cheerleader girl for a Nissan Rogue and it was so over the top, they all but stopped and turned to the screen - Rogue, by Nissan. Yes, it's a little thing, but it turned me off so quickly I think that was the last episode I watched.

I agree with that as well, I really liked the first season though, so maybe.

Well, hopefully there won't be a Writers' Strike to feth up the storylines this time, so the plot wont suddenly dip in quality.
as long as HRG features a lot again I will be happy, get rid of the crap characters like the cheerleader and ... well basically all the craptastic female characters that all ... just plain sucked, bring back the hacker kid, he was cool, we aint getting cyla back as he is holywood now.
Oh and no writers strike to kill the show off again
This show was the single largest waste of potential since the Wanted. It would be almost singularly impossible for a sequel (or reboot) to blow as hard as the first run did. Past the first season. After the prison break scene toward the end of the season ("What am I thinking now, Mr. Parkman?") was a downhill slide to garbage-town.
I'll wait til the first few seasons are out before subjecting myself to that again. At least there'll be no Zachary Quinto showcasing the "wooden puppet" school of acting this time around.

Thank god....
I hated Zachary Quinto. No changes nothing, just a poorly written character.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

If it was then Jurassic park would be in the cinemas and the election would be between Clinton and Bush.

You shouldn't be worried about the one bullet with your name on it, Boldric. You should be worried about the ones labelled "to whom it may concern"-from Blackadder goes Forth!
