Subject: Meth lab found inside Walmart restroom in Indiana
MUNCIE, Ind. — Police found a meth lab inside a Walmart restroom in Muncie, Ind., on Thursday night.
Employees called police at about 11:30 p.m. after discovering a suspicious backpack in the men’s restroom, according to WXIN. When troopers arrived, they found an active meth lab inside the backpack.
Investigators dismantled the lab and removed the chemicals from the store.
Police said the men’s and women’s restrooms would have to be thoroughly decontaminated before being reopened to customers.
Investigators are still working to identify the person who left the backpack inside the restroom.
So not exactly Walter White, but it may in part explain the 'People of Wal-Mart'

Reminds me of a story from the UK a few years ago. Some guy dropped off two potted plants in the lobby of a swish lawyers office. You know the kind, all massive glass windows and almost constant sunshine. He just walked in dressed in a plain grey jumpsuit, popped one of these plants in each corner of the main window and left.
After 6 months or so of near constant sunshine and watering, he came back to pick them up. The staff had been growing his pot for him. I have no idea if this is true or not, but if it is then that took balls.
As for a meth lab in a backpack. I have no idea how bad the meth problem is in certain parts of the States, but that is certainly a novel way of transporting your own stash. I wonder why the person left it there?

Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

The Meth problem is REALLY bad in certain areas of the states. Especially in some rural areas where there is enough wilderness to hide a lab and it's smells.
However, I'm with those who think that "Lab" is a slighly overstated headline the newsroom used to get attention. It's probably just a bottle, tubes, filters, sudafed, lye, batteries, etc in someone's backpack. It's possible the chemicals had already been mixed and someone ran out before they were done thinking they were going to be caught. Meth in a bottle chemicals can be dangerous so that (in addition to the smell) would explain the decon procedures.
Meth labs have a tendency to explode, if not attended to with expert care. I imagine wearing your backpack methlab would be rather like walking around with a live grenade on your back...
Emperor's Eagles (undergoing Chapter reorganization)
Caledonian 95th (undergoing regimental reorganization)
Thousands Sons (undergoing Warband re--- wait, are any of my 40K armies playable?)

This.
I live in a rural area and almost every day or two there's reports of meth "labs" found. More often than not it's just components dumped in a wood.

I'm not 100% sure of that.
Usually an explosion occurs because the "lab" isn't properly ventilated and it builds up a large amount of dangerous chemicals. A backpack sized thing wouldn't be likely to explode with any force capable of killing. You would certainly be risking dousing yourself with caustic chemicals.

Worse? I mean...look at it this way - at least they've expanded their stock to include rare pharmaceuticals that you can't get at any old CVS or Walgreens.
So, is it just me or is meth something that only happens in the US? I may be oblivious here ( which I doubt, since drugs are my actual job) but I don't think meth is even a thing over here.
