So I'm starting a a new Space Wolves army, and I'm putting them on 32mm bases. The problem is that I'm not sure what bases size to use for scouts. It's obvious that SM will get the new base size as they bring out new kits. However the scouts don't look as chunky as marines even though they suffer from the same problem. ie feet too near the edge of the base.
Would people have a problem if I used 32mm bases on the scouts too? They are sniper scouts with a missile launcher if that makes any difference.

Do you really want to know if the rules support what you're wanting to do, or whether people will be okay with it?

The rules are clear in stating that they "assume models are mounted on the base they are supplied with" but that "you should feel free to mount the model on a base of appropriate size if you wish, using models of a similar type as guidance."

Personally I think it's best to mount Scouts on 25mm bases as supplied until any such time they are released on 32mm bases. I would however be completely okay with Space Marines in Power Armour that may not currently be supplied with 32mm bases being mounted on 32mm bases, as per the "models of similar type" statement.
