On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

That is indeed a pretty good deal, if you're able to cover 2x2 in dense terrain for $100.

If I didn't already have two solid boards of terrain I would definitely get it!

Honestly, that looks too dense for me. Looks similar to the last table I played on:

Shotgun heaven, sniper rifles and HMGs had very little use, and movement was super awkward.

I like a bit more room to move.

.. I can't believe you are complaining about playing on a table like that !! I would give my eye-teeth for the opportunity..

It's my FLGS's Infinity board. Just to add - that crystal moqsue (it's a Bourak themed table) is interior detailed, and the levels remove for gameplay. Also, if you look under it, there's a canal system, which winds its way to the other end of the board that has walkways either side. It's a fantastic looking table and a lot of work went into making it.

Unfortunately, there's just too much terrain and it was made solely for 25mm bases. There's lots of paths where 40mm bases won't fit, and almost nowhere for 55mm based models to move about. If could do with a good 3-4 buildings being removed, but unfortunately all but 1 (the building in front of my Kum rider) are stuck down from what I could tell. Also, most of the board, due to the amount of terrain, just doesn't get used. The canal system is accessible but pointless to use in a limited 3 turn game.

Colin (Scarecrow on the official board) who made it pretty much exclusively played Hassassins when he made that table. It was also made before there was an ITS mission system. We often played 6 turn games on that table when it was in Newcastle.

I don't think he had anything larger than a 25mm base at the time.

He's also prone to over-think things and a perfectionist. He sees it as his curse.

It looks amazing. For some reason, I've never really thought about using DZ terrain - I may need to rethink that.

As far as that table goes, I can see a few sniper alleys, so long range stuff wouldn't be completely useless.

@Loki: You play out of Penrith?

That was the last location I knew of for that table.

No, Campbelltown. It's been there since before Christmas. They used to have a CNC workshop board at Campbelltown, which I assume is now at their Penrith store.
