Welcome to Dakka!

If it's the dark grey look you're going for, like this one:

Then I started with Vallejo Dark Blue Grey and layered adding a little Light Grey each time, before washing the recesses with Nuln Oil. I think this guy had about 5 progressively lighter layers, but typically 3 or even 2 gets a good enough look for the tabletop.

Paradigm, That looks great but I fear it is beyond my lvl of skill. Is that the old black reach captan? I may attempt something like this for my heroes but am really looking for examples of table top quality stuff. I'm not the best painter yet. Though I would say I'm not a blood claw anymore

Hah, thanks! To be honest, though, I did spend about three times longer on guy than most of my Wolves. If you want, I can take some pics of the simpler ones (just 2 layers and a wash) if that would help?

And yeah, it's converted from the AoBR dude!

OK, here are some of my Wolves, same scheme as the guy I posted above, but much simpler, just a Dark Grey Blue basecoat, Nuln oil wash and the DGB reapplied on the edges. Model by model, they're nothing special, but they look fine on the table. 'Scuse the lack of basing!
