I'm guessing not but I have looked though the gorkamorka page on collecting citadel miniatures and none of them have any sort of horn let alone a trombone.

Anyone know which model it is?

Looks to be just a pack of boyz. I can only assume that the 'trombone' is an odd translation thing.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away...

Pretty funny translation on that as trombone in Italian is trombone in English AFAIK

But as insaniak says - looks like Boyz, although I'd say that its the 'Boyz with Kannons' and the loose part in the blister is the blunderbuss arm

It is indeed the word is basically Italian adopted into English.

I was starting to hope there there was a long forgotten ork model with a trombone, oh well. Feel a little inspired to model an ork jazz quartet now, something to put on my "if I ever have more time then I know what to do with" list.

Back in the UK and hating it

It's the Ork boy with the Blunderbuss - the Italian informal name for that being Trombone

It's not out of the realm of possibility. Back before 40k took itself too seriously, there were ork musician models. The Goffic Rockers.

I do sometimes wonder if its worth trying to buy GWs entire stock of Goff rockers. Even now they sell for more on ebay NIB than GW sell them for.

I wonder how many they have left? The store lets me add 100 to my basket without any sort of warning.

Well that's that mystery cleared up.

Makes far more sense than what I thought it'd be, which is French for "Paperclip".

I would love to see updated versions of these models sculpted. Maybe with a drummer added.

I'd be tempted to make a battlewagon that looked like a heavy metal stage on spiked wheels. Something Dethklok could be proud of.

I remember an early golden demon entry that was a whole stage with the band.
