I'm running a poll for the current round of the "League of extraordinary riveters terrain contest" to decide which entry the Dakka Community prefers; and it has been suggested to me that to drum more interest and therefore get more votes, it should be featured on the front page.

Would this be possible to arrange?

The front page is not compatible with spoiler tags or integrated polls in threads. If you want to type up a 2 paragraph blurb with a couple of images in a followup post to this though, I'll make a manual post to the homepage for you.

For the past 3 months I {OneManNoodles} have had the honour of running the 13th round of the League of Extra Ordinary Riveters Terrain Competition. The purpose of this competition was to create a terrain piece based on the theme of "accidents" (13th competition and all). Great, this should go up on the home page soon. The images wont link through without some fudging as the home page code is a bit primitive, but there will still be clear links.
