As the above title says, I need a question about daemons answered. Once my opponent managed to get his whole daemons army to have a 2+ invuln, and it was legal. I dont remember how, but it was legal. How did he do it? Or is it my imagination?

Not sure about a whole army, but it is possible to give units 2++ saves (and as Tzeentch Daemons reroll 1s that's a rerollable 2++). Ways to do this involve the Grimoire of True names and psychic powers such as Cursed Earth.

We'd need to know a little more about his army, but almost certainly not possible.

One of the warp storm results gives you +1 to invun. And good coverage of cursed earth gives you +2. The grimoire gives you +2 but only ever one unit.

To get the entire army to a 2+ save , you're opponent was probably stacking cursed earth effects which is not allowed.

(Or very carefully mixing in a caster with sanctic daemonology rolling sanctuary )

He had a daemon prince

Lots of Khorne

A little tzeench and nurgle

Likely a Legacy of Armageddon if there was a Forgeworld vehicle upgrade there. Plus Cursed Earth and a lucky roll on the Warpstorm table.
