Given these change quite often and usually link or relate to upcoming releases I thought it might be good to have a thread that covers these just for the theories as to what they might mean

So was excited this morning when I got my Black Library mail order this morning of the new skitarius novel and then was even more excited as it seems GW are giving more and more freebies out!
This morning I got the following freebies in it, but my question is does anyone know what the pin badge is?



I got some car decals (wife has promptly informed me they will not be stuck on the car)
another drop assault card
the stange pin badge - is it inquisition? first tactical squad or something else?

It's a Roman numeral for 1 and the twin tactical arrows that Dark Angels typically use. So, 1st Legion probably.

judging by a few comments ive just had on other forums and in messages from people who work for a certain plastic crack dealer would seem to suggest DA for the pin and a potential summer of love for the marines in dresses

What is the Skitarius novel like? Is it a full blown novel or just a slightly larger than normal novella? Does anyone know if it will be released in paperback in 6 months/1 years time? If this is the only edition going to be released then I would most probably end up buying it but if the paperback version will eventually come out I will end up waiting. I went through the same situation with the recent Kharn: Eater Of Worlds book that came out. I wish GW/Black Library would have a bitt more information available when they release the new books.

The family car will also be remaining Mechanicus symbol free.

I made an assumption that the Roman numeral 'I' over the tac symbol most commonly seen with Dark Angels could indicate a Legion symbol rather than Chapter and therefore be a HH hint rather than 40K.

By the way, I don't have an iPad/ Touch so if anyone wants a Drop Pod code,PM me and I'll see if I can track it down.

I got our order last night and it came with a CSM/Daemons poster and two Drop Pod Assault codes. :( I really wanted the pin and stickers. I think they're being randomly thrown into the boxes.

The pin would have been perfect for my DA army.

How much did you guys have to order? I received an order last week and it didnt have anything.

I ordered 3 60mm bases (€ 4) and I got the pin and the stickers.

really??? I ordered like 80 bucks worth of stuff and got diddly. Lame....

Yea I got drop assault cards (will never use them) and a poster of some of the new Khorne Daemonkin stuff. I wish I got the Admech cog stickers. Maybe I'll get one with my codex and data cards.

If anyone can't use a mechanicus car sticker drop me a PM- it would look great on my car !

I'm tempted to put one on the fuel cap door on my car lol.

It looks like it'd be the perfect size for the mustang fuel cap...and it'd look good on that one too.

FW's started getting in on it, too. I got one of those Drop Assault codes with my most recent order.

I got the badge and code in a replacement paint package.. I might exchange it for the Nurgle badge

Yeah, I am seriously disappointed that I didn't get cogs with my limited edition skitarri codex. In fact, the manager just handed me my codex last week, no goodies at all. They must have run out.

I haven't seen the cogs or the pin show up at all locally. I have a bunch of the drop pod assault cards here.
