Can you Look Out Sir against Strength D hits? Here are the reasons why I am confused:

- Strength D inflicts wound on a model basis. There is no carry over all all excesses are lost. If you Look Out Sir a wound and kills the next model who is also hit by the Destroyer blast, what happens to the wounds allocated to him?

- Some people play by making one saving throw and then roll D3 when determining how many wounds suffered. When wounds are spilled over, do they still count as S10 for the purpose of Instant Death? For example, a Chaos Lord in a group of Mutilators are hit and the Chaos Lord Look Out Sir the wound (before multiply) that would Instant Kill him, but will this wound multiply when taking on the Mutilators and will each of them Instant Kills as well?

For all intents and purposes, my Local Gaming Group say NO to Look Out Sir against Strangth D, and it's better that way otherwise people are confused as feth. What do you do about it?

You need to move this thread to the appropriate forum.

But here's the short answer - yes, you can, because D still causes wounds.

You can look out sir, provided you have someone alive to pass the wounds onto

The multiple wounds is on a per model basis, so if the model gets killed by instant death from a SD weapon anyway there is no need to roll the extra wounds. So in your Chaos example they would multiply on the mutilators, as they are the ones that suffer the wound, not the lord

Sounds like a nice loophole. I'm sure you can because it's just the same model taking two wounds simultaneously (as though he pushed the officer out of the way) and permitted both models are still in play when throwing saves.
