Curious to see how many armies you have that are tournament ready. Painted and assembled.

It depend on what you mean by "playable".

Had one but I painted them a long time ago so I striped them and they are on the list to get a new list, painted and rebuilt. Again...

As of now my IG are the closest to being done, so zero as of now.

Meant six.. Forgot I just made Chaos playable at 1250 but not painted.

I have 3.

Sisters, Orks and Arbites (counts as IG) I only play with painted miniatures and can reach a minimum of 2000pts per army

Used to own three, now I own one.

At least 1500 points of each. Most of them much more than that.

I have painting ADD so I tend to get anywhere between 50-90% of the way through painting and I start something else. If painted is a requirement then I have 0 playable armies, 4 if you count unpainted/partially painted.

DKoK Siege list with Assault Brigade friends and Scions

Orks and Tau where my first two full 2k+ armies. Just recently purchased my models for a 2K Grey Knights + Inquisition Detachment

2 currently and debating on getting a 3rd. I am in the process of finishing my 5000pts. of Imperial Guard and then will do the same with my Tau, considering picking up a 3rd army of Eldar themed after the Alaitoc Craftworld.

Basically back at one, as my old guard guys aren't exactly playable. But I still got my orks. Can't imagine getting rid of them, no matter what happens.

Five - I wouldn't call them currently tournament ready as some havent been adapted to the newest codex. But all are at least 1500 points or more of fully painted and based.

Well, six atm after selling CSM.

2 (not counting my Renegades as doubling as a IG army or that I can just use my Daemons as Khornekin)

I did have necrons but i sold them when the new codex came out because 3 armies is too much and the new codex made my army boring.

I have A Knight, legions of IG (estimations are over 20K) , a bunch of Scions (Tempestus), approx. 750 maybe of SM, and the skitarri book (with units on the production line or in the mail on their way).

I count the IG/SM/Scions as "playable" even though all of them are essentially one massive force with the IG armor at its core that is supported by the actions of my other far smaller armies.

I don't have the book for Scions or the new one for space marines (They were built in a later edition of space marines. I have not gotten the book since they are not used very much and the book is expensive.) Although I could "play" them easily.

As for the Knight, I have the white dwarf for him and that's about it but since he is alone I figured that would be all I need unless I somehow acquire like 4 or 5 more knights over night for ultra cheap or free.

Painted and based at a points level sufficient for local games?

1) DKOK Assault Brigade - 2000 points

3) Praetorian Imperial Guard - 1750
4) Blood Ravens 1st Company - 1500

I used to have a Steel Legion army of about 1750 which I sold after the new codex dropped - my whole playstyle was nerfed hard (regular platoons in Chimeras, Al'Rahem for outflanking fun) and I wasn't going to spend the money required to make them into something, so sold them and got the Praetorians instead.

As for tournament ready?

Zero. I tried to keep pace with the power curve to a point, but it's reached the point where I'd have to completely abandon any pretense of theme with the armies I have to compete, which I simply won't do. The Praetorians can sort-of put up a fight - they've got a good combo of armour and infantry, they'll fight competitive non-Eldar/Tau/Daemons/Necrons and do alright, but the top dogs? Not a chance.

Hell, my armies don't do very well in casual settings either against anything but bottom-tier codexes which aren't using their monobuilds - non-turkey CSM, non-flyrant Tyranids, etc. I have categorically refused powergaming, which limits my options somewhat.

Hence i'm going to be getting into 30k soon, and probably end up repurposing my Death Korps into Imperial Army of some stripe.

Five for me all circa 4-7k in points, Wolves, IG, Nids, Eldar, Orks.

In the process of stripping and painting my whole collection. When they are done I will have about two thirds of a useable Space Marine force, and half a decent IG force, if I use my Squats in with them. So I think there is a little work to be done before I'm going to be "ready" for games.

All of them.

None of them playable due to GWs incompetence.
