As the title says. Looking for alternative models, as the current GW ones are pretty static. Cost is not an issue and they dont even have to be 40k/GW models. I just want to keep them about the same size and similar looking.

Those look pretty good too, is there a size comparison? It appears they suffer from the same "1 pose" problem though. Still, would mix in nicely if they are similar in size.

Skaven Rat Ogres with bits from the Talos kit is how I would do them. Alternately, the Crypt Horrors from the Vampire Counts range is great for that too:

These guys.
Sprinkle in a few Talos bits and you're golden. These are what I used to make 10 of them. There's a nice size comparison in this thread.

Dreamblade minis. Used retailers sell them for a buck apiece. Wide variety, too. Since they were supposed to represent nightmares, it seems fitting to use them as covens units.
There was a story in the last dex about Urien Rakarth turning some Space Wolf scouts into grotesque-like wolfmen monsters. If you'd like to represent THOSE (say with a big mask to make them more grotty), then Confrontation Wulfen are also available for $1-2 each from used retailers.

I'll second the stormfiends. Remove the tails and Skaven symbols, file off some of the fur if you want, give them some leftover talos heads and weapons and they're pretty much done. Their armour fits in very well with the Deldar covenant aesthetic.
