What's going n with painting Buddha? Is there something we should know? Especially as he's involved with making videos for at least one kickstarter I am waiting on. (Creaturecaster) or is this just him clearing out his basement like I need to do?

I don't know for sure, but my guess is there is more money going out than there is coming in and he's subsidising the site and this clear out is part of that.

I'd also say that he and the other people involved are 'stand up' guys and even if the site as it is now did cease to exist I suspect any painting tutorials etc would still get done

I'd love to know when the Sorcerer on Disc is going up for auction.

How do we bid on these things, exactly?

Only watched part of it, but seems the gist is all his money is tied up in real estate and with the crashing of the euro, he is unable to access it like he had been to subsidize the running of painting Buddha. So he's selling this stuff off in the mean time to keep going.

Can anyone explain how bidding works, outside of a video? I really hate having to watch videos and hope that maybe the information I want is there...

How does the auction work? How do I bid?

It's very, very simple:

1. The stream starts and lasts for 42 hours.
2. You contact me (FB/Slack chat/Twitch Chat or - preferably via Skype) whenever you feel like it.
3. You tell me what you want, what you really, really want. If you are looking for something special that is not in the photographs (I have 1000s of items), just ask me if I have it. If I have it, I will offer it to you.
4. I will summon the item and put it on sale.
5. We haggle - others might bid on the item, too, though.
6. We agree on a price and you pay using the donation function in Twitch (you will see buttons for that under the stream)
7. The item is yours - you can continue shopping or end your purchase.

Is that all?

No. 42 hours. I have no clue what drove me to do that - but I suspect it will drive me increasingly crazy. The power of 42 compels me.
