Subject: What units are 'fluffy' for Word bearers?

I want to re- convert my CSM thins summer so that I can make them into a Word Bearers Host.
I can see things like Dark apostles/ Chaos lords/ Daemon Princes being the mainstays, but what do the 'Modern' Word Bearers of the 42nd millennium use commonly?

I went to Hershey Park in central PA this year, and I have to say I was more than a little disappointed. I fully expected the entire theme park to be make entirely of chocolate, but no. Here in America, we have "building codes," and some other nonsense about chocolate melting if don't store it someplace kept below room temperature. |

Possessed seem to be one of the cornerstones, given that they were the first CSM legion to really have the first possessed with the Gal Vorbak. Other than that they often use lots of meatshields via fanatical cultists and depending on your type of warband it can emphasize on various aspects of the pantheon of Chaos such as daemon-summoning in particular. The Crimson Slaughter supplement is good in representing a lot of this with Possessed being troops and the Prophet of the Voices relic which makes any character who takes it have the Possessed special rules and count as a Daemon which is perfect for a Lvl3 Chaos Sorcerer for summoning daemons. As for cult units, you want to use them but feel like it goes against the undivided nature of Word Bearers, you can always spin it so they are basically chosen/special Word Bearers who have been given blessings by a specific god that battle. Especially given that you're converting them.

Possessed and Dark Apostles are a given. Unfortunately there isn't too much information on what they use Post Heresy, but since they are actually still unified as a legion, it makes since that their tactics are similar.
They focused on Attrition Warfare (Large ~20 man squads), Infantry wave Tactics(Cultists/Allied Guard),and Infrastructure Destruction/Scorched Earth(Flame Weapons, Siege Tanks)
The Gal Vorbak Specialized in Drop Pod Assaults before the became possessed, so maybe Dreadclaws.
The Ashen Circle is a group of Jump Packs equipped troops with flamers that focus on Scorched Earth/Demoralization.(Raptors)
The Elite are called The Anointed, Terminator Veterans.
Dreadnoughts are frequently used to contain Dark Apostles.
They also use Sorcerers.(Daemonancy)
That's all I know.

Chaos space marines. And variant units of chaos space marines, such as havocs or chosen.
They are famed for their possessed, so maybe include more of these than a normal warband?
I'd suggest using plenty of dirgecasters on your vehicles to spew forth the litanies of heresy that the word bearers are so keen on. Likewise, I'd imagine they are pretty keen on fielding Icons of Chaos.

Dark Apostles are overtly Word Bearer, and they use lots of cultists, alongside Possessed. Likely Daemon Engines, Warp Talons, and really anything with the Daemon rule is a good choice.
