I think this should be canon.
If the imperial guard has a loyal and effective killing machine, who ends up unable to serve normally, I would think they would try to use up the resource to the very end.
I would think they would at least have some sentinel-dreadnought midrange thing that carried the broken bodies of the most badass guardsmen still breathing.
I absolutely love this. Screw it if its not canon now, it should be.

I normally can't stand this model. Something about the big belly...I don't know I just like muh dreads boxy I guess. BUT this is so well done. I love weathering on models and this thing looks like it has been in battle for a long haul. Fantastic job. Thanks for sharing.
