I'll never buy one, wayyyyyy to gaudy for my tastes. I do however find it interesting that the land raider seems to have a mounted grab cannon on it. Maybe well see them be available to more vehicles overall.

Come watch me and my friends play good games poorly on Boss Room Ahead

Have a wonderful day

Does the grab cannon replace the ass cannon?

Or can you have a grab/ass combo?

If the new command vehicles will have a knock-on effect on Standard LRs, allowing us to take Grav-Cannons, im all for it.

However, new command vehicles suck. It's just an over-designed Rhino and LR.
I love collecting the various SM models, but on this i'll pass (and you could convert them for a fraction of the price and they'd look much better)

To be honest I don't mind the new stuff, I don't get to play as often as I'd like but I do play occasionally. So if new models come out it just means new models I can paint.

The LE dexes are pointless, with the speed of the release schedule you'd have to be stupid to think that they will be worth anything long term. They are a hype buy, people just need to stop doing it.

I have a saying. "Don't support stupid gak, or all you'll get is more stupid gak."

Rick Priestley said it best:
Bryan always said that if the studio ever had to mix with the manufacturing and sales part of the business it would destroy the studio. And I have to say – he wasn’t wrong there! The modern studio isn’t a studio in the same way; it isn’t a collection of artists and creatives sharing ideas and driving each other on. It’s become the promotions department of a toy company – things move on!

Why do people have to call people names for doing something they want? Can't the same thing be said for us that we are stupid because we keep buying GW stuff, limited edition or not?

So we are all stupid not just the people who buy limited edition stuff.

#2 Skip reading it

#3 Not buy it

Would buy the poor man's version instead (maybe even the mini one)

Honestly, I'd just be thankful that it wasn't Codex: Command Rhino and Codex: Command Land Raider as two separate $50 books.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Aren't the command vehicles chosen together? It'd be pretty outrageous if they did this, comparable to releasing Codex: Tactical Marines closely followed by Codex: Tactical Sergeants

It's not like anyone fields tactical squads, right? On the other hand, releasing the new marine codex closely followed by C:SM Supplement: Grav Weapons and Tigurius would be pretty hilarious.

You joking, no matter how bad or terrible the codex is, the money sheeps that feed gw will spend an extra 100 dollars for some fancy cardboard and artwork. Its sad. But they sell out every time. When will they learn....*sigh*

It's the trend.

Hell, there may come a time when you actually need a little rules-card for every model and every equipment option and upgrade in your army, even multiple cards for multiple uses of identical units and/or equipment pieces in your army, no matter that the rules are identical.´´

Spoiler:

That works incredibly well in Malifaux. But then, there are no codex to buy, just a deck of cards, so in the end it's still far cheaper.
It's also a skirmish game, so the amount of cards are managable.
