I stumbled across cyphers dataslate, got it for free in meinem last gw order.
I Converted a nice model and thought if anyone got some tactical advise for me?

Aye, I've fielded him a few times. I like Infiltrating him with 2 squads of Chosen into a building, one with power swords and one with meltas or plasma. Then start obliterating this while milking Shrouded.

I just got cypher and haven't had the chance to use him yet, however I think I'm going to put him in a land raider crusader with some assault terminators and infiltrate that. Or just skip the land raider and infiltrate the unit.

All I can say is that I've never played against Cypher because everyone is afraid to run him against DA. You know, army-wide zealot, the option to score an extra 3 points if someone gets him in close combat, etc.

Meh, I'd throw Dark Angels a bone. Their codex is so bad I'd still willingly use Cypher.

Indeed - what sort of bastard would want to use their codex?

There were two issues keeping cypher from widespread use;
1) too much ignore cover (not necessarily true now post serpent spam)
2) ambiguity of the rules on whether an infiltrating IC can take a unit with them.

If you can infiltrate a unit with cypher and expect them to have a 3+ cover save then he is a very good character, worth his pts cost. If either of those is not true then he is significantly overcosted. If neither of those is true he is ridiculously overcosted.

I have used him a few times to infiltrate nasty units into my opponent's board side. Some of the fun units I have done this with are;
*IG blobb squad w/ melta bomb + power axe sarges. This is a very fun unit that controls the flow of the game very well. The best part is hit and running out of combats and multi charging a bunch of units causing tons of break checks.
*Grav centurions. Pretty mediocre overall. They usually die too fast from small arms fire this way.
*Large unit of assault terminators. Actually pretty fun as you can usually get some multicharges and cause some havok.
*Unit of 50 plague zombies from renegades and heretics. This is a hilarious tarpit and board control unit. It causes a mess of the entire battlefield and can even be ObjSec.

Usually used him in my Kharn+Chosen squad, just to give them Hit&Run and Shroud.

The 2 BS 10 rerollable non-gets hot Plasma shots that can overwatch at full BS is also a really nice addition to the squad, and its Init8 Plasma shots in CC.

Although his chosen are pretty awesome. Having ATSKNF is definitely something

It also disproves the silly notion that ATSKNF is something only loyalists would have, because they are loyal.

Correction: It just shows that Cypher and the Fallen are indeed loyalists!
