so a random question, I've been having a nose at the Khorne stuff, I really like the models and the concept, and really like the Khârn models that both GW and FW make.

But why no Khârn in the daemonkin book? Isn't he Khorne's greatest warrior?

To sum up the dozens of threads that have been made on this topic, KhorneKin is about sacrificing buttloads to summon daemons. Religious fanatics. Khârn is a great Champion, but he's not a religious fanatic trying to summon a Bloodthirster. He doesn't want to ascend, he just wants to kill.

He is not like other lords, or high ranking chaos, he just wants to kill things.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

I have to agree on that one. I've recently picked up "The Horus Heresy:Betrayer". I'm not far in, but I really like how they've fleshed out Khârn's character.

"Because we couldn't be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We've all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we've all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher's Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls.

The Wolves will always come to the heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn't behave that way. Only a dog does.

That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

You should read Anthony reynolds Kharn: eater of Worlds, that one his also really nice.

But yeah, they left Kharn out of KDK.

But if you ally in CSM with Kharn+cultists, and put Kharn in a KDK unit, he will contribute and profit of the BftBG rule, since the rule states that you only need a model with the rule for it to function.

And the Blood tithes bonuses only mentions units, not models with the BftBG rule.
