Trying to build a list featuring Kasym Beg and the biker twins...wondering if anyone's tried it?

Seems like:
-If you're vanilla, you might as well run Saladin
-Following from that,I KIND OF want to use the Chain of Command Farzan, because obvious lieutenant is obvious
-More smoke seems like it might be useful to bring, maybe even a Fiday (who can snap the neck of any MSV-types)
-Torn between bringing ALL the template weapons (more naffatun! more ghazi!) and bringing at least a few things with range, because the biker characters are easy to outrange and maybe should be covered by a sniper or TR remote or something

Orks - "Da Rust Gitz" : 3000 pts
Empire - "Nordland Expeditionary Corps" : 3000 pts
Dwarfs - "Sons of Magni" 2000 points
Cygnar - "Black Swan" 100 pts
Trollbloods - "The Brotherhood"
Haqqislam- "Al-Istathaan": 300 points
Commonwealth - Desert Rats /2nd New Zealand 1000 points

A little down the page is Loki's list for 5 bikers. It is a solid list and should give you a idea of how to put your list together.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

Yeah, I saw it just after posting this -- I feel silly, now.

Purely based on playstyle here, I've never used Saladin but do own him. I don't see him as the default Lt by a long shot. He's good, but he's also pricey for someone that's not very good in combat for the points you pay once the shooting starts. You really need to build a list to utilise him.

It's not that he's an obvious Lieutenant, but he's an aggressive Lieutenant. However, the fact that he's not Extremely Impetuous makes him a lot easier to control and let you pick his fights, unlike Kum who tend to have their fights picked by a smart opponent.

CoC isn't necessary, but it's a nice safety net if you feel you need it. And even then, if you don't make him your Lt (and thus he stays Irregular) it's a good fake-out for your opponent to hunt someone he thinks is your Lt.

If you're bringing 3 bikers, you've got plenty of smoke. Any more and you'll risk hampering your own shooting.

I wouldn't go heavy on template weapons unless you know the table is going to be cramped. Which then makes Kum very hard to use because of the bigger base size. Naffatun, however, are good, cheap Regular units to include in a Kum combat group for some extra Regular orders. They really benefit for having a few Regular orders lying around to exploit their faster movement.
