When Space Marine chapters go rogue, it falls to the Adepta Sororitas more often than not to purge their numbers. The Sisterhood knows that it cannot face the Marines one on one, and so seek to overwhelm them with a devastating first strike,

The Marine-hunter Strike Force comprises:

Two Seraphim Squads
Two Retributor Squads in Drop Pods

Cut off the Head: All units in a Marine-hunter Strike Force start the game in Deep Strike Reserve. Instead of using the normal deployment and reserve rules for these units, you can, during deployment, choose whether this Formation will arrive during your first or second turn. The entire Marine-hunter Strike Force automatically arrives on the turn you choose—no Reserve Rolls are required.

Burn and Cleanse: On the turn they arrive from Deep Strike Reserve, the Retributor Squads in a Marine-hunter Strike Force have the Relentless special rule and the Seraphim squads can charge even though they arrived from Reserves that turn

Flames of Suppression: A unit targeted by a Marine-hunter Strike Force’s Retributor Squad in the Shooting phase must take a Morale test at the end of the phase on 3D6, regardless of how many casualties were inflicted. If the test is failed, the enemy unit does not Fall Back, but must immediately Go to Ground. If the test is passed, the enemy unit is unable to fire Overwatch for the rest of the turn.

Scorched Earth: Seraphim squads in a Marine-hunter Strike Force can use their Jump Packs in both the Movement phase and the Assault phase. If a Seraphim squad from a Marine-hunter Strike Force charges a unit that has Gone to Ground as a result of the Flames of Suppression special rule, that Seraphim Squad can reroll failed To Hit and To Wound rolls in the ensuring Assault phase.

Nice, very much in the vain of the Skyhammer Suppression.

I think that IMO maybe one of, or all of the rules work only against C:SM, BA, DA, or SW. That or give them Preferred Enemy from the prior codicies, since in the fluff you wrote they are hardened or conditioned for their task of exterminating Space Marines.

I don't think that the Retributors could survive the drop pod landing. Just say that they're dropping to the battlefield with grav-chutes or something similar (angelic wings, lol) and we're good to go. What we have here is a prefectly good example of fair and balanced rules writing.

I know that this is heresy but how aboutgiving the rets grav cannons too? I know that it goes against the holy trinity and all but buffing this formation would make it a little bit more balanced.

Nah, Sisters in drop pods goes all the way back to Citadel Journal. They're Dominica-pattern.

Also, your sig is awesome.

I'm glad you like it! I'll consider the grav cannon thing, but I'm not sure... might be a little too powerful.
