Okay, two Flyrants.

Really, you need decent bugs. With this list you haven't even started Tyranids yet. Figure out what you want your playstyle to be before anything else. Groundpounders, Deep Strike, Flyers, Competitive, Swarms, Nidzilla. There is a lot of models that just don't mix between those types. What sort of swarm are you going for?

It's indisputably the best unit in the codex. Not saying you should run 3-5 but 1-2 and some Venomthropes/Malanthropes would be my next purchase.

Flyrants are musts. If taking 3 flyrants is being TG than CSM would have been the most depressing army to play. Since you've got a Swarmlord, get at least one flyrant to provide additional synapse coverage.
Apart from the Flyrants, Get a few more MCs, Carnifexes, and Trygons.
Tervigons are a nice HQ choice too, got me pulling my hair out once when a Tervigon kept spawning broods of 10+ gaunts, blocking me from actually shooting at it.

I'm not sure which, but there are spore mines in one of the IA's that are genuine pain in the opponents arse. I played a guy with a tourney where he could deep strike these S8 ap2 mines on the table that would explode if they charged someone in the assault phase. After dropping about four or five, he had a good chunk of the board off limits (especially around objectives). They'd go down easy to fire, but with two flyrants and a couple mawlocs popping up everywhere it was hard to see them as a priority. They were big too, which made them all that harder to avoid

Was a fun game though. He had a good laugh at everyone trying to avoid the damn things.

A pair of flyrants, 4 lictors, 2 mawlocs, a tyranofex and a spore pod and a malanthrope would give you pretty much everything you need to be competitive. Maybe a third mawloc if you wanted to be mean.

That's a good selection of models, but you're very light on Synapse. Next Purchase, especially with the way your army is starting to take shape, should be a Malanthrope. That will help the group on foot very nicely.
