Simple Question, what happens to a unit inside a flyer, if you destroy the flyer using interceptor weapons?

The same thing that happens if the flyer gets shot down normally.

But i suppose that if the aircraft crash 'n' burned, and it scattered off the table, the unit inside would be destroyed (as they have to be next to where the aircraft hit)

Just before the flyer's section there is a table called "EFFECT OF DAMAGE ON PASSENGERS" and it lists what happens to a unit inside a flyer when it crashes and burns, I see no reason interceptor would change this. Interceptor shots happen at the end of the movement phase so you should have no issue placing the unit where the Flyer used to be.

The flyer itself does not scatter during a crash and burn, just the blast marker.

Keep in mind that Interceptor occurs at the end of the Movement phase. The Flyer must have successfully moved onto the board and is simply being shot at. I see a lot of people who seem to think Interceptor happens AS the model comes onto the board. Nope.

This is why you can have a Drop Pod come down, have Melta Vets get out and then, at the end of the Movement phase, before they get to shoot, DESTROY them with Interceptor Fire. MWAHAHAHAHAHA.

This is one of the many things that annoys me about Drop Pods. You should be able to intercept them while they are dropping, before the passengers disembark, dammit
