I assume the former, since it would all of a sudden change who was being wounded after you run out of the low armor save guys. If I am shooting at a mob of boyz with 6+, but there is a megamek in front with a 2+ I am guessing I wound on 6+?

warhammer 40k mmo. If I can drive an ork trukk into the back of a space marine dread and explode in a fireball of epic, I can die happy!

It is not stipulated as to what standard to go by in the rules.

Most just correlate the Majority Toughness rule to apply to this as well as it provides precedence and is the easiest, quickest way to do resolve the problem.

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?

With more and more Grav being added to the game, you'd think they'd clarify this...

As it stands, no one knows.

I'd suggest majority, same as toughness.

100% this.

As it stands, no one knows, because they have not bothered to clarify the rule for mixed armor save units.

I'd also suggest majority, same as toughness. That seems like the fairest way to play it.

Seems like GW has given up on clarifying rules or trying to make FAQs/Errata.

That said, I'd say the strongest argument would be for majority.

There is NO SUCH THING as MORE ADVANCED in 40k!!! There are ONLY 2 LEVELS of RULES: Basic and Advanced. THE END. Stop saying "More Advanced". That is not a recognized thing in modern 40k!!!!
