Im looking at getting some artillery for My DKoK.
The basilisk has nice strength and range.
The medusa...
I dont know.
The bombard looks really good... Massive blast good strength and ap.
What are ur oppinions on those three?

I like the Bombard but with its low rate of fire I doubt you will get more than one or two shots off. On the other hand, no one ever uses them so they are neat to actually see. I had two, they were the worst kits I ever received from FW as far as warpage and general stuff not fitting together right.

Bassie is nothing special.

Medusa is a good all round piece, especially if you give it the breacher shells(if they still exist).

I like the Basilisk. It's an all-around cannon with strength good enough to threaten AV12-13 and ignoring MEQ armour. If you take them in batteries (Heavy Artillery Carriage Battery, IA1 2nd Ed), they can take orders and murder anything with cover saves. Stick a commissar or a priest for better Ld and they will execute any order easily.

Yeah get artillery carriages. Stick inquisitors with them, only 25p and LD 10 for easy pass orders, and they can bring servoskulls for 3pts each. Which makes you scatter 1d6 less. Superior in all ways. Put prescience on a unit of three , ignore cover order and shoot away.
