Those are all fantastic! Thanks for sharing.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

They are slicker than Imperial but not as modern as official GW designs of Tau. They would really suit a Farsight Enclave army, which has 300 year old designs, or else a special Gue'vesa army that is using second line equipment.

At any rate the detail and "finished-ness" of the designs is superb!

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

I would be a lot less pissed at these guys shooting me off the board than I am at the current designs

I am currently running the army as farsight enclave, the idea was that the tau traded tech with corrupt mechanicus in exchange for battle suits to keep farsight resupplied

They have a pretty sweet District 9 meets Metal Gear vibe to them. Great job!

I got more of an armored core/mech warrior/chromehounds vibe myself. I really dig them. excellent conversions!

"Because we couldn't be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We've all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we've all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher's Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls.

The Wolves will always come to the heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn't behave that way. Only a dog does.

That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

These are some beautiful conversions, very well done .

Personally I'd paint them red, and use them for Adeptus Mechanicus units, but the best thing about this hobby is that you can pretty much do what ever you want,
and make up background for it to fit. So I look forward to seeing what you build next

Lovely conversions! I would happily use them as one of the advanced human spheres encountered during the initial reunification crusadesthat were super advanced as they retained much of the tech from the golden age of humanity before the fall and that resisted rejoining the Empire.

You say that I am crazy. I say that you are right!

As a Tau player who rather likes the current look of them, I like these conversions way too much.
I could see them also being used as "Re-purposed" Earth Caste construction suits, or the gue'vesa idea above
I would also love a breakdown on your riptide up there, that thing is TIGHT!
