Is the warboss going with the shoota boyz? If so maybe consider getting him mega armor if you don't plan on running them. Also I think you might be better off with big shootas as opposed to rokkits on your shoota boyz. You don't want to be tempted to fire at a tank then have your 27 other boyz do nothing.
I like the weirdboy here--very fun if you roll da jump and deep strike your sluggas. Maybe you don't need all the mek gunz to be traktor. 1 or 2 is usually enough to immobilize insta-kill a flyer if you have ammo runts for them. bringing a kannon or 2 is good if your opponent doesn't have any flyers. If you want you can also attach meks with rokkits and/or killsaw to your slugga squad to make them more killy.
Just my 2 cents, I haven't used slugga boyz this edition much but I love shoota boyz, tankbustas and lootas

Just saying this list is very anti-tank heavy you might want to drop some of the anti-tank stuff for some more boyz

Not bad
This setup looks effective ..however do not expect the trukks to last past turn 1 ..but that should be long enough to get the busters into cover mid board..
I am guessing both HQ's are going in the slugga boyz?
I see excellent anti MEQ and excellent anti light to medium tank ..good anti air ..okay anti TEQ ( which is as good as it gets for orks)

Sorry plan was to put the war is with the sluggas and the weird boy with the shootas, good shout about the big shootas though I'll sort that.
There's only 1 tractor with the Mek guns sorry it's not clear. I did a slightly different list with the irk horde detachment so I could add a pain boy.
And as far as meks with rolkits I tried but couldn't decide what to lose to shave points off this list!

Here's a question I have, can you have 30 Ork boyz AND a boss nob in a squad or would you have to have 29 ork boyz and a boss nob since the max limit for a squad of boyz is 30 and the boss nob counts as part of the squad. In the codex it says you can UPGRADE one so it would be 29 regular ork boyz and a upgraded boy who is now a Boss Nob. Correct?

yes but its still a squad of 30 with a boss nob... If I asked you how many fingers do you have you would say 5, it would be unusual to say 4 and 1 thumb...

More like 5 fingers... One of them happens to be a thumb.
It's just how quartermaster writes it... Making a boy into a nob is an upgrade so there are still 30 models, 29 boys and one nob.
I would have thought that was fairly obvious... Has anyone got anything useful to say?

I would go with the first one. It gives you an extra OBSEC unit.... even if it might be unreliable it still has the potential to be beneficial. Although I might suggest reducing each squad of 30 down to 20 and adding another squad of 20 boyz. Not sure what your meta is but here there are so many MSU armies that big squads have trouble killing enough to even come close to their point cost.
With the new 20 man boyz squad you could drop the WB and PB in it and not pay for the nob upgrade.
