I wrote this last night when I couldn't sleep. Apologies if you've already seen it on reddit or B&C.

The Lion sleeps within the Rock -
The Angels lost his alarm clock.
Fulgrim became a big old snake -
Daemon swords are not safe to take.
Perturabo's still in the fight -
"There is only war"? Quite all right.
Jaghatai Khan pursued his prey -
Just how DO you leave the Webway?
Leman Russ has been gone a while -
Where is "Wolf Time" on the clock dial?
Rogal Dorn is gone, except one hand -
A fist of sorts, though not so grand.
Konrad Curze let himself be killed -
If truth be told, he seemed quite thrilled.
Sanguinius entombed in gold -
Slain by Horus, he sure was bold.
Ferrus Manus plain lost his head -
His closest brother struck him dead.
Angron is now Khorne's Daemon Prince -
It's hard to tell the difference.
Roboute, poisoned, now lies in state -
A stasis field his final fate.
Mortarion brought to his knees -
Now he's a pawn of Big Disease.
Magnus just meant to warn his dad -
Misunderstood, he just got mad.
Great Horus failed, as is well-known -
But doomed Dad to the Golden Throne.
All Lorgar wanted was to pray -
Now that's just what he does all day.
Vulkan declared he would be back -
Four artefacts is all they lack.
Corvus Corax rued his mistakes -
He did his best, but them's the breaks.
Alpharius, they say, has died -
But who could tell if "they" had lied?
Number eleven, number two?
Well, let's just say it's up to you.

I genuinely loved this. The bit about Kurze was probably my favorite.

"Prince" and "difference" I'll give you - I came up with it right away and liked it too much, poetic license! - but where do you live that "gold" and "bold" don't rhyme?

It's in the order of the legions.

Well that explains it. I'm not terribly familiar with legion order and pretty much the only one I have memorized is the DA being the first.
