As the title says. What will you be doing for AoS?

Personally I will be doing a Khorne army using two sets of khorne models from the starter boxes. Will be converting the spare characters to other hero`s and adding in some daemon allies. How about you?

100% not sure yet. Probably won't be until I start to see the new models for the old WHF armies.....but I AM sort of leaning towards skeletons or mummies.

I am pretty enthusiastic about AoS but I am still on the fence about getting into it beyond the starter box. That box is a flat out awesome deal. But the liberators box coming out is 50 USD ... so back to business as usual, which also includes me letting new releases from GW pass by.

If I do an army, it will be CW or CD.

Sigmarites for sure. Those models are sweet.

Other than that, might restart my Vampire Counts army. Blood Knights are sick, plus I've always love VC, but suffered from horrible Winds of Magic in WHFB so my army always crumbled.

I'd like to make a troupe of wardancers. I hope they put out some nice new models or something with the same feel.

I'm going to revive my old, long-shelved beastmen and make a Brayherd warband - also hope they don't outright abolish them in the future.

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.

There is not this idea.

I've got no plans to buy anything new. I like what I have, and it's still supported for now... Though I admit that I'm not quite a fan of lizardmen apparently being demons.

I'm not a fan of either of the new armies, so that's an easy pass for me.

Oh man I am so making a big ol' horde of Orcs and Goblins for this! Be fun to give more characteristics to individual models and don't have to fork out for HUGE amounts of units, such as regular WFB (Which I still love). Literally, couple of boxes, maybe a few more for conversions, and I'm set!

Chaos in its entirety. I already have a metric crapton of daemons and warriors, so it's not a hard adjustment. And I'm having the models in the starter set pull double duty as Chosen and Forsaken of Khorne in addition to their Blood Warriors and Blood Reaver roles, respectively.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Shred City.

I suppose I'll just be continuing the collection of Beastmen and Lizardmen. I had just started collecting a Slaanesh force, but I guess that was pointless since the word on the street is Slaanesh may be axed/imprisoned/retconned/etc. I didn't think a Chaos god could be isolated and imprisoned though, from what I understood they would just take over the next strongest daemon in line.

Will still keep them all anyway, but just merge them into my Beastmen force.

I plan to play my Empire and Dwarfs (5k pts of both from 8E) here and there. If someone posts in the various FB groups I'm in they wanna play, I may try to play.

It really depends on how the local meta develops or regresses. They're still coming up w/ ideas and formula to play the game in their own way.

As for down the line, specifically for AoS, the Destruction faction has me most curious. So if I do get anything new, it'll probably be Orks, Grots, and Ogres. Chaos as well, but anything but Khorne, so that's kinda pending future releases as well.

At this point, I guess I'm going Stormcast Eternals since I LOVE the look of their models.

I have some Tomb Kings if I don't want to play goodie goods on any given day and will likely supplement them with whatever awesome Death stuff comes out for that Alliance.

I will be continuing my Dark Elf force. I'm not to much of a fan of them being sided with order but I guess I will get over it. Maybe the future fluff will convince me.

Bigger question is will you be rebasing stuff you already have?

I've doubled up on the Sigmarites and will be doing an army of Undeath once we get the new releases.

My army will be Galrauch, Karl Franz on Dreadclaw, Nagash and the Glottkin. Because it can be. I may back them up with some Night Goblins for numbers and Orc Arrer Boyz for laughs.

I've been working on my night goblins since the warscrolls have been released. I'll probably end up making a great moonclan and spiderfang venom mob battalion. I only need a few fanatics, a mangler squig conversion and some arachnarok spiders - and I've been trying to find an excuse to work with the latter model for a while now!

Once they bring out the propa orruks, ogors and grots, I'll get me some o' them!

I really like the current look of the Lizardmen, but I am going to wait to see what they do to them. I want to see how the change to being Daemons affects the army.

Still waiting for Godot.

Honestly, I don't know.

I'm pretty sure they will make new models for every faction - and the old ones will be scrapped.

So far, Stormcast Eternals (I'd rather call them "Warrior of Order" ) are really nice but I would rather wait to see what GW will do for the new setting as a whole. I'm quite curious how the duardin will look like - and also the aelfs. I would love to play "new dwarfs" - maybe they will finally break out of their former "only infantry and war machines with no magic" setting.

It's a bit too soon to invest money into this game, I believe. It's a brand new one, so I should give them time.

But, they are mostly for painting, not so much for the game.

Really tempted by an Elven Alliance of Order, or maybe just "pure" Dark Elves. I may try and flesh out the Stormcast Eternal and Chaos factions from the boxed set as well.

I... actually don't know. Help?

Either Stormcast Eternal, Khorne, Skaven or Lizardmen. I've always like Lizardmen, or wait, I could do... a Carolean themed Empire army!

If the End Times releases for the Skaven were any indication of their direction in the future I'll probably get sucked into buying some next year. They always seemed like a race that melded well with the wacky-but-serious style, the Stormfiends being an example.

Will they be putting round bases in all new boxes produced? Still nervous to buy a bunch of units I like then see them made obsolete. Sticking with 40k for now.

Except I don't even play, just build and paint awesome GW mini's for its own sake, so I don't know why I'm caring too much. I do like to try and be current.

ugh, I guess there are people that liked that too. I'm gonna venture that's why 40k is so popular. I'm glad I already have my Skaven army, because if the Stormfiends are anything to go by, I won't be buying anything new.

Those things have custom built armour with high-tech rats put into it. That's not Skaven. Skaven have always made do. You don't build armour for your rat ogre. You bolt random pieces of metal onto its skin.

I like Fantasy settings in the vein of Tolkien. The Stormfiends are more in the vein of 40k.

In conclusion: FU GW. You're ruining Skaven. The one thing that I have always loved and always would no matter what game system you make.
