Hi all, I've been assembling a harridan and have it on the stand now.
However, the weight is making him bend forward alot.
It's held with pins and epoxy, so the bond won't break.

Any suggestions for propping the front end?
Don't want it taking a nose dive :-(
Preferably want something that blends in if possible too.

Any suggestions please?

Leave it propped up against something as it dries.. Id suggest a wall, as thats unlikely to move

For her:

I put a shipping box with the appropriate height under her as she dried and kind of wedged her into position with other boxes to keep her from tilting.

It's such an unrefined art but it works, using cardboard boxes (Or any appropriately sized item that wont move)

I would say, get rid of that stand.

I filled the stand "slot" with putty, and instead drilled a 1/2 hole in him for a proper acrylic rod.

You might have to do some touch up painting, at this point, but it will give a MUCH better mount.

(all my flyers, including super heavies are mounted on 1/2" acrylic rods).

Best of luck, and let us know how it goes.

Thanks guys.
He has set overnight and is stable now.

However, like the hierophant I was worried about it bending forwards over time.
I've seen some older ones where their jaw is scraping the ground and the flying stand had just bent over time.

Glad it worked!
I would still suggest a detachable (more sturdy) basing mechanism for the future – mainly for the point you make (the resin will sag in the long term) but also for making it easier to transport, or even more, move around the board. (he is quite low).
While I used a single acrylic rod to mount mine, I am sure a single steel rod would work as well (although much smaller would work – a ¼” round rod from a hardware store would probably do it).
Best of luck, and hope you love the model in game – I don’t get to use it as often as I would like- but it is a lot of fun when I do!
