Bounding Assault Marine

Leominster

Howdy folks
So I am planning on doing a major expansion to my current Space Marine Army this weekend and I am at a bit of a crossroads in terms of what to pick up.

I will be picking up one more Drop Pod, One more Dev squad and one more assault squad to run Ye Old SKyhammer. Beyond that I was debating picking up maybe 12 bikes or so to make myself a beat stick HQ on a bike with a few as troops, or picking up more tactical with Rhinos, or just grabbing more Drop Pods so my army can do the Steel Rain. Any advice would be welcome.
I tend to run my Luna Wolves as UM.

Currently Have
*3 Full Tactical Squads with Rhinos
*1 Drop Pod
*Two Dreads
*3 Whirlwinds
*1 Vindicator
*1 Sternguard Squad
*Enough Devs to field 2 full squads with either Plasma, rockets or Las.
*Libby, Jump Pack CM
*3 Grav Centurians
*1 full assault squad
*15 Kabuki Miniatures Legio Custodes that I use as Honor Guard.

"I was never a Son of Horus. I was and remain a Luna Wolf. A proud son of Cthonia, a loyal servant of the Emperor."

Recasts are like Fight Cub. No one talks about it, but more people do it then you realize.

looks like you've got the makings of a solid demi-company, so I'd look there as a place to start.

Rhinos Razorbacks and droppods for what you have is always a safe bet,

with that said, you've got the makings of a solid demi-company so I'd use that as a foundation and look into an auxilery formation. snag a tech marine and you could run a armored task force easily eneugh (maybe also snag a predator to get a tak force consisting of 1 vindicator 1 pred and a squadron of whirlwinds. it'd be a decent starting place and give you some room to grow the squadron) another idea might be grab 2 more drop pods, another 2 squads of sternguard and run a drop podded sternguard 1st company task force.

you could also buy those bikes, and run a battlecompany list of 6 5 man tac squads, 1 dev squad 1 grav cent squad, 1 assault squad and 1 bike squad. course to get the real potential outta that you'd have to buy a lot of transports. but it's an objective thats in sight

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two
