I'm looking to see if anyone else has thought up any list trying to win via assassination. Treants first came to my mind due to the teleport/deep strike abilities they get from the formations. I'm personally trying to make a 100 point list based on it. Any other army's to consider?

sisters on forest dragon and glade lord on forest dragon and anything else fast enough to get into combat asap.

Pile as much stuff in as you can and you all get to swing before the target because of the sopophoric breath roll causing your opponent to strike last after everything else.

Lord of change with fly and infernal gateway. Using command ability to add 1 to spell roll and mastery of magic to change smaller die to match larger die when rolling to cast.

Roll of 5 and 2 means you rolled a total of 11. (5+5[match lower roll] plus 1 command ability.

Roll 9 dice need a 3+ (changes as more damage goes onto LOC) to do a mortal Wound.

Oh and you can cast a second spell to summon more LOC for future rounds of magic casting.

What do you mean "IT MOVED?"

Any ranged attack or special ability / magic.

Trying to assassinate in close combat is basically unworkable. It's way easy for your opponent to just close ranks around the model you're trying to assassinate, meaning your would have to chew through a lot of his army to get into melee range. Even using deep strike shenanigans is kind of an iffy proposition.

I've found Dark Elf assassins/shadowblade hiding in Dark Rider units works well, as they really do not present the visual threat of something big and scary.

Best sudden death army I have seen is an undead one made out of corrions. All flying high till 6th turn. for auto win. If someone takes a unit smaller then them, it is most of the time easy to wipe it out on turn 5 or 6th.

assasination is realy hard to build around at 100 wounds. Only thing that worked for me is a dual cannon dual organ gun with engineers list.
