So, Right Now im playing Arkham Knight that I got with my PS4. Never been interested in the series. But I got it, why not? I loved the game. and on PSNow I can stream the second game. City. Im not sure I have plans to play Asylum, but someday.
Anyone every play a series backwards? I did it with fallout, but it wasnt a continuous story, so it was ok there.

Mass Effect actually. Got 3 when it was new, then 2 and have yet to get 1. Might at some point but not sure since 2 had that simplified version to make the major choices of 1 in it. That's a game that actually continues game to game, but I did play 3 again with the save from 2, to see what changed. It was an interesting process.

Also did it with Bioshock. Played 2 and really enjoyed it, prolly because I didn't play 1 before and see what a good Bioshock game was.

One of the very first games I ever played was Ultima V, and it wasn't until years later that I got a chance to try out any of the earlier ones. It was pretty strange to go backwards through them. Ultima IV was at least familiar, but the further back I went, the more strange and alien the series was.

First Assassin's Creed game I played was number 4.

Played Silent Hill 2 before Silent Hill 1.

It felt weird, going back to PS1 era 3d - I don't think they did motion capture for Silent Hill 1, so Harry moved oddly.
