I've been posting this on ATT and I figured it couldn't hurt to drop by over here and show it off and maybe get some opinions.

First up we have a heavy duty Ion weapon based off the Cyclic Ion Blaster. I was building this to replace HYMP for tau since I don't really like missile weapons and prefer energy counterparts.

Next is a design that originated from Tael from ATT, all I've done is try to translate and adapt his custom job to a 3d medium.

Mind you all of these are just still WIP and open to change, which I welcome your ideas on. The 1st one was designed in google sketchup (really messed up and might be getting fixed by another designer) and the 2nd is a solidworks design that still needs to be chamfered (edges rounded).

Comments, critiques, complaints?

Oh hey, another refugee from ATT! I like the ion weapon, it's a nice overall look but I feel like it needs some additional bulk somewhere in the rear of the weapon. At least in my opinion. I've gone and built up a few new weapon types for various units in my army. If you want to check out my Dubstep Cadre, you might find some ideas you could adapt to your own efforts.

Have you considered designing sonic weapons for Tau?

I know I've neglected poor ol dakka in favor of ATT with all these goodies but here I am again to spread the word.

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! FEAR THE CREATION!

Lets start with the PACs.

More missile pods, including conforming fast packs

here we have the engine manifold for medium suits

example of new arm (a bit smaller than expected but obviously still turned out okay), with the Ion carronade of course

example of the MAG equiped to a non standard arm

and lastly a new project from the other half of Studio Mythos, our resident artist GorFrag

More pics soon, with better quality with casts being produced throughout the month. Keep tuned here folks, fun stuff comming.

I really like the engine manifold and nonstandard arm bit. It's difficult to get a sense of how they match the model with the clear plastic. Maybe if you paint a sample it will look better?

Very cool. New casts can really refresh repetitive models like suits.
