So i want to use Nagash in AoS, and as we should all know, he is stupidly OP because of how much stuff he can summon each turn.
The only way i can think of to use him and not be "That Guy" is to only summon 1 unit per turn (most likely Zombies) and then just spam Arcane Bolt
Thoughts?
Any other way to use him and not be "That Guy"?
(I will only be fielding him, for sudden death i will either choose slay the general or last till turn 6)
And please dont put "dont use him then"
"That Guy" refers to the person who will use cheese in games and/or abuse rules

Being that guy is an attitude though.

What does he lose by being wounded? Perhaps trying a couple games having him start the game under the effects of each of his weakened states will find a power level more appropriate.

He loses X amount of casts per turn, attacks with his sword and bonuses to cast/unbind for every couple of wounds suffered

Have a 30-50 wound "summon pool" for units you could summon (kinda like reserves, but not subtracted from your proper army), summon only minimum size units once per turn, give your opponent a couple wounds extra to counter it.

This way you will summon 50 zombies in a game where he has to use the extra wounds to chop you down aggresively before you swarm him with a bajillion zombies or skeletons.

Should make for a fun game in my opinion!

Both of you use the Scroll of Might to calculate your forces (http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/657171.page;jsessionid=E4E4DBA1173AFCFAFAF9E033B54226B4).

Nagash has a Might of 58, so if you agree on 100 Might for each force, there's plenty your opponent can field to balance things.

The Scroll of Might uses those Might values to see if and who is outnumbered: Nagash probably won't be the outnumbered side.

Plus, no matter how much he summons, the opposing force looks at the units it killed as a ratio of what Nagash' force had at the start of turn 1.

Cheers.

also remember, summons count as dead at the end, nagash may "win" but he will "lose"

If anyone put that elaborate gentleman code with all the variables and considerations on paper, the rules for this could end up not much shorter than the old ones. Except that all said space would be completly wasted on pointless noise instead of actual substance.

From the initial Age of Sigmar news thread, when its "feature" list was first confirmed:

A collosal, terrible, flaming, hysterical train wreck with burning clowns running around spraying it with seltzer bottles while ring masters cry out how everything is fine and we should all come in while the dancing elephants lurch around leaving trails of blood behind them.

How could I look away?

Nagash is good maybe to good but each spell can only be cast once per hero phase, summoned units can only be set up within a certain distance and are of a set size with his doubleing ability you could run out of space quickly, hes also damn big so makes a perfect target for every missile weapon on the board. Vamp troops are not that good at surviving.
to advoid being tfg let your opponant know whats coming so they can be prepared, but in the end its down to you.

Turn down the option of Sudden Death. As the guy putting down one model, you have the ability to say no. Or if you feel compelled to take it, limit yourself to Endure.

Bingo. Now you've got a game - make those summons count!
