If his preambles are actually meant to be taken seriously, then Tom Kirby gets my vote.

"Through the darkness of future past, the magician longs to see.
One chants out between two worlds: Fire, walk with me."

"You listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks

The worst writer besides C.S. Goto is still C.S. Goto.

Worst writer?

In terms of Fluff? Ward was probably the worst, matched only by Kelly's 5E Space Wolves and whoever wrote the Militarum Tempestus book that reads like a Harry Potter "Hostel".

In terms of rules?

Hard to pick, they all have their issues and it would depend on which faction you're looking at the perspective from. Ward wanted to give everything to anything he wrote, Kelly would make one very well balanced book write before an overpowered mess, Cruddace's books were marked by abysmal internal balance, etc.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

I'm getting the growing suspicion your Robin Cruddance.

Seriously why are Guy Haley and Chris Wraight on that list? I like a lot of what they have written.

I'm a fan of picking Ben counter no one can fax up like Ben counter can mess up. He was given lots of prime real estate to turn into good books and then he ----ed it he absolutely ----ed it.

The only good parts in any books I've read from his books was when he killed his main characters that's about it, because they get walloped and you know the nightmare that is his writing will soon be over.

I don't know how Nick Kyme has escaped mention thus far. In a world where Matt Ward has left and C.S. Multilaser is out of the running, this race can have only one "winner", and Nick Kyme, that poor, eternally damned soul is you.

May the Emperor have mercy on what remains of your soul and may the Inquisition place all copies of your damned tomes in a deep and hidden vault, forever sealed, never to be opened and guarded always by the greatest of mankind's heros, so none may be forced to suffer their torturous ramblings ever again.

Phil Kelly. No other writer has done such gak internal balance on his level. Matt Ward might write underpowered units, but there's a difference between 6th Ed Destroyers and Warp Talons in terms of usability.

These are different kinds of writers that you can't really compare, and a good number of them don't even write for GW anymore.
