Hi guys I'm about to play my first ever Mordheim campain. I've played necromunda before but this will be a totally new exp for me.

I decided to stick with a human warband and since all the rest was represented Ive chosen
AVERLANDER I love the 'wasp' colour scheme.

This is what I've come up with to start.

Captain Sword dueling pistol 95 gc

Sargent hammer 38gc

Bergjager bow 45gc

Bergjager bow 45gc

Young blood hammer 18gc

Mountain guard x 3 hammers 99gc

Mountain guard x3 bows hammers 129gc

Halfling scout x1 bow 30gc

Total 499gc.

Basically I'm going for bodies.

I'll use the first game or 2 income to buy equipment not men

Hopefully by game 3 I'll have 9/10 men and decent equipment
Then start replacing losses.
I'll try to keep my bow hero's scout up high away from combat

I went for mountain guard instead of cheaper marksmen so I could use the bow group for decent BS fighters if they get the BS upgrade they would be Preety handy. And let the other group be my murder posse with the capt / young blood .

Hints tips call me an idiot! All welcome.

I'll post a link to one of my previous posts regarding Averlanders, since I think it covers the relevant points...

People underrate human warbands too much IMO. They don't get all the fancy special rules, but what they do get are flexibility, adaptability and really good equipment lists. And personally I think Averlanders are one of the strongest human warbands.

I've twigged it a bit dropped the henchmen bows added a halfling with bow. And spit my band into 4 henchmen groups of 2 men each.

More rolls on the exp chart if it happens. But at the cost of 2 less shooters to begin with.

My worry is my band rating is quite high starting off mist if the others seem to put less people with more equipment. Having a smaller rating.
