I ran a Nurgle focused Daemons List at ATC that can be found here:

http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/652976.page

It worked really well as explained at the end of the discussion.

However, that is because I avoided flying and Imperial Knight Armies. Since, I basically had no answer for either.

As such I would like to convert this army to be more well rounded.

Chaos Daemons: Codex (2013) (Combined Arms Detachment) (1473pts)

HQ (605pts)
Be'lakor, The Dark Master (350pts)

Great Unclean One (255pts)
2x D6 Daemonic Reward, Psyker Level 2

Troops (198pts)
Pink Horrors of Tzeentch (99pts)
11x Pink Horrors

Pink Horrors of Tzeentch (99pts)
11x Pink Horrors

Heavy Support (670pts)
Daemon Prince (Heavy) (310pts)
2x D6 Daemonic Reward, Daemon of Nurgle, Daemonic Flight, Mastery 2, Warp-forged Armour

Soul Grinder of Chaos (180pts)
Daemon of Nurgle, Phlegm Bombardment

Soul Grinder of Chaos (180pts)
Daemon of Nurgle, Phlegm Bombardment

That gives us 377 points to work with.

I am open to anything that makes sense.

Khorne Dogs and Plague Drones have both crossed my mind as well as Allying with CSM for a Chaos Fire Raptor Gunship (FW) or anything that doesn't usually make the ban list since I can slide Be'Lakor over to their list for the HQ.

Thanks in advance,

I like the list so far. I'd say add a CSM detachment and get a Heldrake. They're still pretty good, and tend to draw a good amount of fire. You should also bump the ML for the GUO and DP to 3. Then you can try to fit in another 11 pink horrors.

But neither of those options help with Flyers or Heavy Armor.

I would say the Heldrake helps against flyers depending on when it comes in and your maneuvering of it. But you also already have 2 Soul Grinders which should help against flyers and even ground vehicles if you kit them with Warp Gaze.

I am also a fan of the Hell Blade (FW) if that is an open option for you.

What kind of armies are you expecting to play against?

Locally:
Blood Angels Drop Pods MSU or Dreadnoughts
Centstars
Bikestars
Ultramarines Mech
IG Mech
Most of the Imperials have 1-2 Imperial Knights.
Necrons Wraiths and/or Flyers
Chaos Daemons either FMC Slaanesh/Faitweaver or
Khorne Dogs, Screamers and Nurgle Soul Grinders
Rarely Tau

GT:
South Eastern Style

If you think the 2 Soul Grinders are enough to contain the air, then our focus needs to be on Imperial Knights.

Well as far as Imperial Knights goes . . . I am a fan of Obliterators so my first thought is to suicide squad them by deepstriking behind the knights to null the save. (Obviously this is if you decide to ally CSM). You could also throw some swagged Chosen into a Land Raider or something.

Depending on what else is across the board the Soul Grinders could do the same as the Obliterators but that seems pretty risky. But all in all when you are facing 2 Imperial Knights in 1850 that is just pretty hard to deal with as Daemons.

Well against FMCs I think 2 grindere, Be'lakor, a DP and a Heldrake should do well. Against flying vehicles the list is lacking sure, but lots of list struggle with this.

Have you looked at the rapier weapons batteries from IA13? You can get 3 TL AP1 Ordnance lasers with an artillery platform. It would do well against knights and semi ok against a flyer I would think.

You can't Snap Fire ordnance weapons at all, not even the non-blast ones. So you can't use the Laser Destroyers for anit-air

Ah yes you're right, still would be handy against the knights.

Anti vehicle options appear to be CSM

Core
DS Obliterators,
Dakka Drake,
Chosen if they can find a way to get there.

FW
Rapier Batteries
Typhon (Super Heavy Demolisher Cannon)
Fire Raptor more AA than IK, but does have 4 S8 missiles.
