Hello I am in the middle of trying to create a way to make a custom guard officer with 2 lightning claws, like the Winter Assault game. I was able to come up with an idea of cutting arms off a regular guardsman and then cutting space marine claws at the elbow and combining the 2 to create claws. Does anyone have any other methods of coming up with something of the sort? Thank you

Given how large and bulky lightning claws are, I suspect it would look better to replace the whole arms. (Fluff-wise, he had his arms bitten off at the shoulders instead of at the elbows )

Unless you can find something lightning claw-ish looking in Eldar or Deldar figures, which might be smaller and lighter looking?

There was an old necromunda model that had a pair of IG sized lightening claws, a bit of greenstuff and would make a great officer

If you went for the arms cut off at the shoulder option, you could use bionic arm parts from Anvil Industries to make the upper arms.

I will try cutting off at the shoulder. I never thought of that. I have seen a custom model of a duel claw officer but I have never been able to find it again. They were shaven at the elbow and it looked really good but I have had no such luck yet.

I really like the look of that fighting girl. Too bad there is no model.

Is there any specific model I should use over others for the main body? I haven't really found anyone that really captured what I want. Thoughts?
