Morning Dakka Dakka, so I am starting to collect Chaos Daemons for 8th Edition Fantasy and Age of sigmar.

And I had heard how for the most part the models are universally used in both 40k and the Fantasy system.

Now I will make it clear, I do play 40k, I collect Space Marine and Eldar, however I have no knowledge of Daemons or faced them.

And with me collecting the Fantasy version, I thought it would be beneficial to get some knowledge on the 40k Daemons side.

Now I am a player who enjoys fun matches, but at the same time likes to be semi/competitive in games.

So with that in mind.

1. Are Chaos Daemons a good solid army?, can they be competitive?

2. Do Chaos Daemons need to be allied to be competitive or can they be run as a solo army ( I prefer just sticking to solo non allies).

3. What makes them good? What makes them bad?.

4. Are they fun to play?.

5. Do any certain units stand out as must take or good or simply bad?.

And any other general information you can give about Chaos Daemons

(Some tournament information on how they perform there, would be nice, I am looking into entering the tournament scene at some point).

Thank you.
