Hi All,

I've been building a Frostgrave table, you can follow my progress for words and pictures here:

https://jimmiwazere.wordpress.com/

So far I've documented how my cobblestone streets are going to look, and I've got a full PLOG going of building my first Frostgrave house. It would be super if you could come on over to my little neck of the internet and drop me a comment to let me know how you think I'm getting on?

Thanks for looking

Jimmi

Puts my efforts to shame.

I salute your dedication to carving otu windows, they annoy the hell out of me. Foamcore and gesso texture?

I'm asking because I didn't visit your site. There are a lot of ads and they take forever to load on my old mac. Yeah, a mac, I know.

Nice blog.

You will likely get more use out of the ruined house. The intact one, with it's slanted roof, will do little more than serve as a massive wall to block LOS.

The cobblestone road is a nice touch.

I quite like LOS-blocking terrain in FG. I think the rulebook implies there should be plenty of it, whether in the form of walls, level changes, or some intact / semi-intact structures among the ruins.

I agree, there should be ample LOS blocking terrain.

However, LOS blocking terrain that you can move into, or on top of, is more functional, which is what I was getting at.

I have a tables worth of intact modern buildings and a tables worth of ruins. The ruins see more use.

That ruin does a good job of blocking LOS anyway, with that big, solid wall.

Depending how much work you've done already, you might consider making the paths and roads run diagonally across the board, which will break up LOS from the deployment areas too. Or add lots of twisty medieval lanes.
