Marius moves quickly through the corridors and sees the CSM assaulting the Space wolves, with a flick of his sword the CSM are slammed against the wall and their bones pulp thier organs.

The Dreadnought and the Space Wolves battle through the brig tearing apart any prisoners or traitor guard that stand in their way , several Heavy weapons Chaos Space Marines move forward and begin firing on the Space Wolves killing three Blood Claws forcing the others into cover but they are soon torn apart by Marius. They use a lift to the lower area of the hanger were they store Drop-Ships and Gun-Ships along with Heavy Weaponry , Chaos Space Marines move towards the area and begin to fire on the Space Wolves.

(OOC What kind of traps then exactly, you never explained.)

Having given shas to Mikal and watched them use his bulk as cover to get to the hangar he draws his sword. Come and get me

Syrath jumps down and spreads his Claws out into a defensive position, he grins at the approaching Marines and Daemons. They snarl and growl at Syrath caring not for the massive Dreadnought.
"Still upset about the missing ammunition? Funny isn't it you're so obsessed with you're little guns and weapons."
Syrath leaps forward and slices and decapitates two of the forward Marines.

The Other marines panic as another is sliced apart , the Champion growls and begins to run away from the area and detonates explosives trapping the others with the Assassin leaving the only other exit the traps around them.

Marius calmly reaches out with his mind gripping the minds of the marines, and then witha mental twist, slices their brains in half. The dead marines drop to the ground.

He then walks forwards sweeping his blade in great arcs. Decapitating Daemons faster than they can run forwards to die. Only the Screamers get his specific atention, his blade skewering them before they can get close.

Syrath finishes off the last Marine by bisecting and decapitating him , he throws its corpse to the ground as Icehammer begins to take off , Syrath runs and grabs onto one of its wings as Marius begins walking towards the Thunder-Hawk.

Marius sees the daemon but decides to give him the benifit of the doubt as he maglocks himself into his harness. Once again interfacing with the ships systems he uses its vox to contact the Tau and Imperials.

While they have been talking Marius has started the retro thrusters and the main sublights and manouvered to the hangar doors. when he sees the Imperial Squadron inbound he accelerates into the mob and they head back towards the planet, With non-dreadnought passengers marius couldnt push the thunderhawk as hard but it was still straining as he pushed it though its paces.

The chaos fighters make a spearhead pattern splaying out in an inverted double V shaped like a gigantic claw. The ships begin to fire quads at the Imperials but are shredded by salvo of Lascannon fire. The tau follow up on the flank and Ion cannon pulses obliterate the fighters ont he flank. The remaining fighters are wiped by an offensive salvo of hellstreak missles from Icehammer

The extended squadron moves in a large sweeping pattern and punches through the blockade, soon after they are winging theyre way back to the surface. After a brief reentry they land on platforms at the fang.

Marius steps out to see Sven coming towards him. He looks around for Syrath but cant see him, Marius, even some Daemons have honour, especially ones like Syrath, he maybe evil, twisted and creul, but he will hold to his word. Sven moves forwards with his wolf guard and Marius turns to his lord ready to defend his actions to the great lord.

"Sir somethings happening, a massive warp surge in the area 117, another group of Chaos ships just breached our defenses and have begun to attack the Fort of Icehorn on the outer reaches of Asaheim. Eight Assault Carriers made it through and appear to be carrying a large force of Chaos Space Marines and Daemons. We better prepare for some heavy fighting milord as the ships could carry thousands of Chaos Space Marines."

"Marius, Mikal I must ask you something that I would not usually ask of any warrior of Russ or the Emperor. Can Shas provide support to the fleet and ground forces and what of the Serpent of Tzeentch , has he any use?"

Do not insult me like that again Sven, you may be my superior and i respect you but dont think for a moment that i would go on a pointless mission with so much risk, even on his own he is a formidable fighter Marius moves past Sven, to gather an assault force, I need to be there, Mikal, your coming so are you Shas, gather your squad and anouther two squads with dropships, make sure they are grey hunters, were gonna need the fire support, and one more thing, make sure a squad of long fangs accompanies in a dropship as well. actually make it two squads, we leave in 15 minutes

Marius gets his armour repaired swiftly and gives a request for reinforcements from the rest of the chaapter then heads back to the dropship, a quick blessing from Sven and then they are off, Marius guiding the Tunderhawk from his Chassis as he is now accustomed.

The 4 thunderhawks fly in a close holding pattern and get to the fortress in time to see the Marines disembarking from the massive carriers some 1300 metres from the bulkhead walls.

Once the thunderhawks have landed Marius moves swiftly in making sure that the defenses are ready. He would hold this fortress until reinforcements could be arranged.

I let out an animus blast which i give the form of an fenrisian war wolf.

The Wolf is able to kill two Chaos Marines but is destroyed by a Plasma fire to the head causing it to evaporate and disperse, the other move onto the Assassin with a vengeful look and open fire shattering Lotus's nee cap with a bolter blast. She falls and begins to retreat as the blood pours from her would while the Chaos Marines are in close persecute.

The Carriers begin to deploy Drop-ships and Gun-ships as well as troops from their Anti-Gravity lifts and deployment ramps as they land, twenty forward Drop-Ships begin to land their cargo near the Fortress along with Predator battle-tanks armed with Las-Cannons and Vindicators ready to level the walls of the fort. Marius stands with a group of Long Fangs and Grey Hunters who are reading their weaponry and armour for the battle ahead.
