Only one is killed as a Chaos Space Marine fires a Bolt-shot into her side and wounding her seriously and causing her to fall. The Chaos marines draw their combat blades and Chain-swords as they advance, they howl and shout and the wounded Assassins.
"I'll enjoy gutting this one like a trout and using its bones as a tooth pick ha ha."

"A Daemonic creature pierced you're right lung and partially breaking a single rib. It took awhile to pull that tooth out."

The Chaos Marine dodges the attack and raises his Bolt pistol and nearly hits her with the shot.

Indeed i did youg ones, the blue serpent was a powerful foe, and in some ways it still is, it lay within all of you, the need to do wrong, to allow yourselfs to disregard the rules, to ignore your superiors, you must defeat that serpent, before he coils around your lives.

Marius feels a tang of pride as he watches the yound Space wolves and he looks to Mikal, You should be a grey hunter soon.

A Shadow passes by , it posses no threat and flickers with light blue sparks but pays not attention to Marius or the sound of the advancing Predators and Drop-Ships. The Space Wolves open fire as the Drop-ships doors open and allow Rubric Marines and a Commanding Sorcerer to depart and begin their attack. The Shadow commanders the Drop-Ship and uses it against some of the others and uses its Vox to contact Marius.
"I'll keep them you're back for along as I can."
The Scarab shaped ship fires on its brethren as Syrath uses it against its former masters while the Thousand Sons advance.

Marius is a bit shocked

Everyone, an ally has aided us here, but we must meet them, get to the walls brothers, PRO TOTUS ABBAS!!

Marius stomps his way to the gatehous holding an autocannon in his massive grip.

The weapon was quickly modified for his use and he braces his legs and then aims down the the massive barrel,

The gunline on the wall opens up, a glorious rain of fire spears down into the enemy, autocannons plasma cannons lascannons and heavy bolters all rain fire down into the approaching horde.

The Thousand Son advance is quickly stopped by the massive hail of fire that consumes and obliterates the entire front wave, the Sorcerer quickly creates a shield to protect himself but is knocked back and forced to take cover as the other Rubric Marines are cut down by the Auto-cannon while the other scramble to cover taking pot-shots on their way. They successfully kill several Space Wolves but are unable to make a true gun line out of their tattered remnants.

Keep firing! Keep firing!

Marius checks his ammo feed and realises that he and others will be running out soon.

Blood claws, get some ammo crates up here, then we charge them!! Grey hunters and long fangs keep firing

Marius snaps the ammo feed shut to his Autocannon and gets down from the wall, taking the broad steps 4 at a time. Once at the bottom he grasps an ammo crate and opens it swiftly, from there he attatches the ammo clips to his ammo feed and then snaps the valve open again.

With close on two dozen Blood claws around him Marius feels thier excitement and feuls it a little by roaring litanies of hatred for Chaos into the air.

They cluster around the gates and wait for a second then as the Astates on the wall begin firing again the gates rotate open and the Blood claws and thier huge commander charge head first into the enemy.

Marius moves beside Mikal, the pair firing bursts of suppression fire from their respective weapons, when they get close Marius snaps the ammo feed shut and slings the weapon onthe mag lock on his back and draws The Blade of Fenris.

The weapon sweeps through the air as they close, Bolter shells sparking From Marius's adamant hull a great warcry as old as the Dreadnought himself roaring from his vox blasters.

PRO TOTUS ABBAS!!!!!!!

The death strings make a web of themselves catching lots of them and decapitating and slices arms and legs of which are followed by decapitation.

(I can't find anything about these Death-strings and have begun to think they are of you're own creation. Can you give me a source please)
The Chaos Marine rolls and fires again shattering her lower shin and fires again stopping her from moving as fast as she could originally, the others move forward and begin to fire at the Assassin and force her to move back.

A Blast of psychic energy shatters a Grey Hunter as the Sorcerer flies into the air on wings of blue and green flames that flow with magic and energy , he descends and draws a blade of fire as a Daemon of Tzeentch possesses his body and begins to mutate it. His helmet twists into a hawk like head that screamers at Marius as it charges forward.

You have to be kidding me
Marius growls slightly and draws his autocannon, putting a pair of well aimed shots right at the sorceror

as he expected the shots were diflected by some sort of shielding but they did what he needed, they made contact.

From there Marius drops the autocannon back onto the mag lock on his back and clenches his robotic fist in the air infront of him. The sielding surrounding the sorceror is crushed, and then Marius points the Blade of Fenris at the sorceror and casts living lightning

(In nemesis there was a small reference. As they are based on eldar haywire technology but if you want it gone then its ok. Then it was just an experiment and then it destroys itself but it is one of my little weaponsi can use as an surprise. And come on i am killed twice now how can i possibly kill them? I am an trained assasin and use haywire tech to kill them i thought it was a SMALL group but it looks like at is a fething legion!)

The Sorcerer explodes in a wave of psychic energy but its bloody and gory remains form into something far more terrifying and evil , a greater Daemon of Tzeentch and turns its foul attention to Marius and cackles like a mad old witch, even Syrath could not be compared to this evil thing.
"Oh I was promised a special party was I not."
Syrath's commanded Drop-Ship crashes into the Daemon and explodes as Syrath jumps out and onto the head of the Daemon and attacks it
"Open fire! I can't hold him for long!"

(You're may be highly trained but still Chaos marines have thousands of years experience , if you live in the hell that is the Eye of terror I think you've got a bit more experience than some Assassin. Also you have a shattered Nee cap.)

Yes but they come from my hands so can lay down and still use them so.....

(I just suggest you retreat , you removed the primary target and are wounded. Returning to you're base [Probably have one] and healing would be best. With a shattered Nee cap you really should.)

I Know but how they are faster then her because of the knee cap if this wasnt happening and she was already retreated

Marius growls, Bloodclaws, open fire on the Daemon

Marius watches in horror as one of the blood claws rushes forwards trying to get glory and is swatted by a Psykick lance that smushes him across the landscape.

Marius growls HE IS MINE!!

Marius grips his sword and moves forwards, Farseer, ward my from his powers, i will engage him in hand to hand and distract him, once he is distracted i will need you to crush his mind.

Marius loops his sword up and brings it hammering down on the great bird.

The bird blocks it with its staff and trys to fire a bolt of energy at marius, but the farseer blocks it,

The bird blinks, surprised for a second, and its all marius needs to smash the Daemon backwards with his sword and then close the distance.

The Daemon engages with Marius in hand to hand combat ,both are graceful in combat the Daemon is unable to gain any true advantge against him. It growls and flies into the air sending bolts of energy at Marius and escapes. Syrath stumbles over to Marius and revels his half scorched face.
(OK , let's just continue.)

I activate a hidden trap which activates a hallicunation gass which cant be filtered out of the air. I then kill them and walk to the outpost. Where i plant a bomb on the equipement and i retreat. (I hope this is ok because else there was no way i could survive.)

Marius fires bursts of concentrated fire into the daemon but appears to do nothing as it flees.

he turns to Syrath

Why are you aiding me so much Daemon? If it was found that I was fraternizing with you Venerable or not i would be decomissioned.

(Srry about the delay guys, got family visiting, so wont have much time to be on here until next week, I will however do my best! Now lemme backtrack some to get me up to speed.)

The operation aboard the ship is completed swiftly, due to the power of Marius and the farseer and the wiliness of Mikal and his Blood claws, Shas is rescued and the enemy shipping weakened. Soon, the two are back on Fenris and Shas is whisked into the infirmary, hopefully upon waking he would be able to assist the space marines.

Mikal and the assembled defense force soon make their way to the fortress that is being assaulted and Mikal joins his brethren in preparing for the fight. They adorn their armor with talismans and pelts to signal that they were warriors of Russ about to make war. The chantings and stories of Marius, the sagas told and the lessons given before the battle started were not lost on Mikal. For the first time Mikal felt at home amongst the others of his pack, he was no longer just a warrior of the Emperor, he was now truly a Space wolf, all the doubts that the others had had about his origins were now moot exemplified by the words of Marius who assured Mikal of his place amongst the Grey Hunters. Mikal grinned at that, somehow heartened by the prospect of being able to bring death swiftly to the enemies of man.

Soon the battle began, the opening shots were fired. Mikal snarled in frustration, the blood claws had no long range weaponry and so for the first few minutes had to watch the Grey Hunters and the Long Fangs deal the firepower. The claws had their turn soon enough, however, and began pelting the enemy with fire from their bolt pistols and slashing at them with their chainswords (or in Mikal's case, two howling frost axes). Mikal's wrath was unquenchable he looked to kill everywhere with impunity. He held a wall segment with a group of Grey hunters and watched their flanks with some of his blood claw brethren. A hunter went down from a bolt of warp magic to the chest, Mikal continued to fire his bolt pistol at the oncoming enemy but bent down and also picked up the grey hunters bolter with his other hand. At that moment, chaos forces breached the wall behind Mikal. The young Claw didn't even wait for the smoke to clear, he filled the hole in the segment with bolter fire. Blood spurted and men screamed at Mikal's fury, he advanced, both guns spitting death.

His weapons finally dry clicked after he had slaughtered two squads of traitor guardsmen in one long burst. Three Rubric marines trudged up behind them, Mikal's reflexes were quick but not quick enough. As he grabbed his axes, the Rubric marines fired. Mikal jinked, but not fast enough to dodge the bolts, his armor absorbed two heavy blows but the third entered his torso and knocked him to his back. The Rubric marines advanced to finish him but as they stood over him, Mikal's eyes opened and with an uncontrolled burst of pure inner wolf, he slaughtered two of the Marines with the axes and killed the other with his own fallen bolter.

It was then that the charge was sounded by Marius. Mikal joined his brethren in the charge, coughing drops of blood from his injury. He ran and slew, part training, part wrath, part luck. Mikal and Marius both lead the way until the daemon of unholy Tzeentch challenged the unstoppable Marius. Mikal defends Marius flanks, making sure no sorcerrous energies touch the venerable dreadnought. By the time the Daemon flees, Mikal's armor is pitted and scraped with damage. A few burn marks are scorched on it from where the sorcerers scored direct or indirect hits. Mikal's hands remained clamped to his axes, his breath hot and bloody in his mouth, he gags again.

"The hated enemy, servants of the one eyed tyrant, bane of Russ and his sons." He spits "So this is all they can conjure?" He laughs as he stumbles to his knees, trying to remain upright.

all good man, we all appreciate a good read, and this was definitly a good read.

(BIC) Fall back, this day is won, we must hold the fortress now, we shall not loose anymore warriors upon this plain.

Marius gently picks up the wounded Bloodclaw and voxes him privatley

Mikal feels a strong hand pick him up and put him on his feet. Mikal uses the hulking form of Marius' form as support as the two limp back to the fortress wall. Despite his injuries, Mikal feels elated, there was not telling how many of the enemy laid slain on this plain, the bosom of snowy Fenris. Mikal's breath came out hot and ragged, sending little plumes of steam into the air around his face. He continued to laugh.

Your a good friend Marius, more than I could have ever asked for, more than I deserve probably, don't know what I'd do without your guiding hand."

It was then that Marius made another comment about the Grey Hunters.

"Perhaps, Marius, perhaps, if that were to happen then this indeed would be a glorious day. But first let us see what Lord Sven has to say, see if Shas is awake."

Mikal's thoughts roam as he walks. He remembers the fight and remembers the hated for of Syrath in the mix.

"That scum bastard Syrath was there, and he assisted us? Why?" Mikal shook his head. "I will never understand the workings of Chaos." Silently, Mikal prayed that his last words were always true, for he knew that the day they were false would be his greatest damnation

(No problem mate, no problem at all)

You are not such a bad friend yourself Mikal, An old warrior could not ask for a better companion, alive with the fires of youth.

Marius walks a couple of steps furthur before answering Mikal, The warp is an ever shifting thing, sometimes it is aligned against us, sometimes the chaos gods alienate one of thier own and it is forced to work alongside us, remember Mikal, it is only chaos that we must hate, the other denisens of the warp are not to be hated, or feared, but to be pitied, for they are under the yoke of harsh task masters.

Only the likes of us can lead them to the path of Righteousness, Syrath is one of these denisens, he is a Daemon, but i do not think that he is aligned with any god in particular, and he seems to hate the servants of Tzeentch in particular. I deeply mistrust him, as should we all, but there is no reason why he shouldnt fight alongside us. He is as embittered by these Chaos gods, as we are

Marius continues walking for a bit, once they are inside the gates he halts,
Mikal, listen to me, it is not for us to decide who should die, and be destroyed, and who should live and be redeemed, that is a task for our superiors, and it may well be that one day, you.. or I, ascend to Svens throne, long may that day be in coming and long llive our lord. But if we should have to attain that position, then it is us who must decide these things, but neither of us will be ready if we do not learn from our superiors.

I am still a warrior, not a tactician. Part of me is slowly shifting to that place of being, but that could be many many years away, by that time you could very well be in the vaunted ranks of the Wolf Guard. I do not know, but no matter what happens, stick to your friendships Mikal, they will see you through a millenia of lives

"Ah, yes, it is coming back to me now. I must thank you and the Space Wolves for helping me, otherwise I might not be alive right now," I say in thanks to the Space Wolves. "Know, have you got my armour? I need to find Marius and Mikal."

"Yes , its partially damaged on the shoulder but it does not seem to be in repairable. You're engineers will be able to repair it easily, Marius and Mikal and in the courtyard and are readying themselves for a second defense but are happy to know that you are OK."
The Space Wolf hands Shas'O his Helmet and smiles.
"I'm Kenoth by the way."

Marius and Mikal here a blast outside of the Fortress but see it is the Burning remains of the Drop-ship commanded by Syrath as he assisted the two against the Thousand Sons , the Daemon appears again from behind and smirks.
"I serve lord Tzeetch but I fight for my goals and Kremlin and Escalibar are my enemy's , the term the enemy of my enemy is my friend applies here and I will happily assist you."
Syrath dissolves into the air once again.

The Assassin returns to the small Imperial base unknown to the Imperials for healing and new weaponry.

(also the AA gun is destroyed right?)
i sit down in an mechanicus healing substance pod. after my wounds are healed i look for the weapons.

I smile at him before putting my helmet back on.

"Thank you Kenoth. Now farewell. I know we will meet again."

As the Assassin leaves the pod she is surprised as the Vox-screen flickers to life showing a screen of writing.
[This is a triumph , a great success. My little plans are working , for my gifts will soon be reviled and I'm happy for this , you should be its quick and harmless and I rated you such as a threat. The ticking sound begins to fill the room.

Shas enters the courtyard and see's Mikal and the massive Dreadnought Marius. Other Space Wolves crowd around him asking him questions of his battles and quests of danger and Daemons.

She tries to open a door if this isnt happening she blows the door out with a melta bomb.
