Over the last few days, the crew of the Void Phoenix had been working furiously on the installation of the new experimental systems. 7 squadrons of Torpedo Bombers had been gradually brought aboard by bulk lifters from British Aerospace, the manufacturer of these new craft.
The torpedo bombers were amazingly capable strike craft, seeing that each one of these relatively small craft carried a full sized torpedo.
The old strike craft of the Void Phoenix had been sent into the storage bays in the bowels of the ship, so they could be reintroduced if needed, without fetching new craft from a ship yard.
The launch bays had been converted to hold these new craft, as well as being fitted with large ammo cranes for loading the torpedoes.
The rest of the ship had undergone a massive inspection and maintenance, compulsory for ships after their first deployment.
The ship was found fit for service, and a few minor repairs were made to various circuits, and a few of the external bulkhead which had been dented by the ADM blasts.
The ship was in perfect condition again, and ready to engage its foes.
Garan had been in the ships mess hall when he received the form up order from Admiral Sharpe, he immediately left his roast beef lunch, as tasty as it was, to tend to his duties as captain.
He arrived at the bridge less than a minute later, and immediately sat down in his captain’s chair.
The Void Phoenix had already been piloted to into its dedicated place, curtsey of KIRK.
“Make sure the Torpedo Bombers are loaded, but don’t launch them,” Garan said to his tactical officer, “We don’t want to scare the alien, but be ready just in case.”
“Torpedo’s loading now captain” The tactical officer replied.
“Shields up, go to condition 2.” Garan continued.
Then they waited, waiting for their chance to meet an alien…

Utilizing Careful Highlighting

As the havoc powered up its engines to leave the dock of the broadsword its captain was in the recently re employed interceptor hanger, observing the final installation of the new steal field generator. The technicians themselves were immersed in the wiring of the humming core before him. He knew, thanks to his data pad, that it would be complete in the next half hour and therefore would be ready for its first test. In the first couple of hours he had watched the original testing videos of this piece of tech and was amazed at the effectiveness of it. He strode forward towards the man overlooking the installation, called Thomas. He heard the approach of the captain and such turned and anticipating the question that was about to be presented to him, gave him the answer that the steal field would be ready soon. “Good, good. When it is ready, I want it tested. And I want it done fast.”
“yessir”
“thank you”
Turning from the man and walking from the hanger he noticed the heavy ceiling mounted cannons that would serve to protect this experimental device, track him out of the door and he smiled. Those would protect the generator, and if it was sought to be damaged, his career.
The shuttle doors opened as the captain stepped inside. Then closed as he sat in the co pilots seat next to the shuttle pilot. As the hanger bay opened and the shuttle powered up and out, Joesph saw the modifications that has been made to his ship, many pylons and radio nodes cris crossed his ship. These are what projected the unique net across the ship to cloak it in space. Mere minuets later the tips of every node began to glow as parts of the ship became less solid but then faltered and returned to normal. Then they glowed even brighter and what happened made him falter. His ship had disappeared.

issac looked over the roster of his ships systems.it all looked good to him. the new stealth feild would come in handy, and hopefully not blow up. its installation had costed him in other stuff, but it would be worth it. as he stood up and walked out of the command bay,he smiled and yawned. he hadent slept in some time and needed to catch up. "sir france, dont disturb me unless absolutely necessary."
"understood sir." flopping down on his bed.not even changing, issac noticed he smelled kind bad but ignored it and closed his eyes.
"im going to get woken up soon i bet...."

on the Bellicose class Ship-Of-The-Line Battleship, Armageddon Knight, Norman McKnight got up from his stateroom bed after the alarms had been going for some time. And then only to smash them. When the sounds of the wakeup calls were gone, he rubbed his eyes and groggily belted on his combat boots, camo pants, desert fatigues, sword belt, and flak jacket. This was in stark contrast with his room, upholstered in red velvet and cheery furniture as well as the Martian-wood tile floor. Norm had always preferred to live in a semblance of decency rather than the ‘be like their men’ commanders who were laughed at behind their backs. He knew that a lot of what his men were getting drunk on was his own stash and couldn’t care less. He never drank alcohol anyways and just used it as a test. Besides, if you were decent and not a gak head to your men, they would think you were great. Norm distained the ‘drab boring depressing’ rooms in favor of a place where could relax. He had earned it. Other navy commanders could be brilliant tacticians but not have actually had their life in real danger, with the enemies actively trying to kill YOU not your ship, and the only thing separating your vulnerable flesh from an insurgents bullet was a simple flak jacket that was only meant to repel shrapnel… He tended to, unlike other ‘squids’ be generally liked as far as regular army went, with his medals and all but really he did not care at the moment. After grumbling his way to the bridge he readjusted the sword belt. each sword was the iconic fleet broasword, usless in the confines of a ship really but iconic enough to get some heads turned. The secondary scabbard the one on his back was more of a sheath really and for McKnight, contained his preferred close quarters weapon that had served him well in the Marine Corps on Earth. it was more of an oversized machete than a sword or bayonet A real ‘gentleman’s’ sword would get you killed on a ship so he preffered to leave his Sword over the mantelpice in his room. while single edged blades, while considered vulgar by some, had been realized as the premier CC weapon since the ages of piracy on old terra he had to admit that the Sword did look imposing. he had gotten it after joining the fleet with flying colors, after he incident on the persian gulf.. He remembered what he had been dreaming about as he slept. Holding out for seven grimy nights and seven brutal days with the streets running slick with blood. The smell of death, hanging like a shroud as bullets snapped and hissed by him, the feeling of the M70 carbine as it clicked dry. Salvaging rounds anywhere they could find. The AK-100 round slamming into his guts and tearing them up one day before breakout…he still had the bullet that had almost claimed his life. He also still had the bullet that HAD claimed the life of the man who shot him. He remembered pulling the shell out of the cooling insurgent before kicking the man into the dust… Most of his crewmen were former army and saw themselves as ground-pounders still. And rightly so. They had EARNED this life of relative comfort. Each and every one of his bridge crewmen had proved himself one hundred times over. And a hundred times again. The Armageddon Knight was rendezvousing with a battered fleet, to join it and fill the vacant battleship’s slot. Then there was his ship. It was his whole career summed up in one deadly, powerful, space hulk. A mass of metal and men., With the ten cold fusion reactors of the Bellicose class Ship-Of-Thee-Line provided simultaneous energy for his engines, ion cannons, and shields. The computer ‘smart’ AI, Shelia, ran the ship at max efficiency at all times. the Knight herself was a god of war. But where there be gods, there too be demons… He had graduated only last month and had been getting familiar with his new ship. He had requested a deployment and had got one. Boy was he gonna pay for it now. He knew that these start-at-navy-die-at-navy types like Sharpe loathed the footsloggers. Even if they were only former Ground-pounders , but still, the principle was the same, and McKnight was not expecting the warmest of welcomes from the probably close knit group as he left hyperspace feeling like the black sheep…

“Captain,” KIRK said calmly to Garan, “A new battleship sized vessel has just entered the system.”
“Identify it,” Garan quickly ordered, “I want to know if it is friendly or not.”
“It is broadcasting an identification signal,” Ensign Garakof, the ships communications officer, said, “It identifies as the Armageddon Knight, a Bellicose class battleship, under the command of Captain McKnight.”
Garan though for a moment, before turning to his navigator,
“Take us back into formation, it’s a friendly. We will let Admiral Sharpe deal with why it is here”
The ion drives flared, as the Void Phoenix returned to the defensive formation with the rest of the ships.

“This is Armageddon Knight, to the 14th fleet, we are being reassigned to your battlegroup. Over”
The comms officer closed the channel. “Elena? Next time put up a two way video feed, I want to see to whom I am talking.” Said Norm.
“Yes sir, sir? Incoming transmission.” Said the comms officer
“On screen.” Said Norm, standing in the middle of he deck in between the two crew pits.
(I thought that the bridge would look like a star destroyers, with two crew pits on either side of a walkway, and other stations around the walls.)

Mine looks something like this: Except less stupid and with technology that actually exceeds that of 2011. Edit: And with a design that's more asthetically pleasing. So actually not very much like that. But whatever. It doesn't exist anymore. Sort of. Bleh.

Here is the description I wrote of mine:
The Void Phoenix’s bridge is a state of the art design, incorporating the best of ship design from over 100 years of the navy. It has a central chair, for the captain, upholstered in black leather, with built in display screens, coms system and command controls. To the left of this, is the First Officers chair, and to the right is a chair for visiting dignitaries and senior officers. In front of the command hub, in the centre of the bridge, is the navigational and science stations. These consoles have huge displays, and highly responsive touch screens, ensuring that all the data is available to view and act upon by the crew members stationed there. In the rear right of the bridge is the communications console. It is from here that the ship’s captain may communicate with the rest of the fleet, his own crew, or other vessels and stations. The opposite side of the bridge to the coms station is the tactical station. This is where the ship coordinates its attacks and defensive systems from. Its displays and touchscreens show the status and condition of all the tactical systems and strike craft on the vessel. On the left and right sides of the bridge, there are the engineering and operations consoles. It is from here that things such as monitoring of the anti-matter drive and the fusion reactors. The operations console, or the ops console as it is more commonly known, is where the bridge officers can perform actions such as adjusting the ships lighting, artificial gravity and open the hanger doors, among other things.
Overall, the bridge is a sleek and modern area equipped with the very best of federation technology. The brushed aluminium surfaces, the jet black touch screens, with their bright coloured controls, and the black leather upholstery give it an impressive feel, and an aura of command.
