Paint might happen later this week. The kids began spring break this week, so no quiet time anymore , unless I skip my four hours of sleep at night. Yard work done his morning, cleaned basement for arrival of my brother inlaw and the bloodbowl pitch this afternoon. The frosty Mugz are taking to the field tonight, even unpainted.

Just got today's mail. Letter from the state with a positive verdict for me , now I just must wait another 30 days to make sure they do not try to appeal. I don't think they will with the statements made during the two hour phone hearing the other day. I couldn't breath for the time it took me to read the four pages of the notes to find the answer three quarters of the way down page four. still shaking right now.

Yes, there still is some justice in the world, you just have to fight for it. Love the picture vik, but my gutters are tiny, much too small for an xwing. Even too small for the necromunda rats and millipedes.

They're not rocket launchers, they're a jet propelled invitation delivery system. As long as the walls are thick, and if the gutters aren't anchored too tightly then they will pop off when the grenade goes boom.

Edit: day fell through again. Bro in law couldn't make it, so we had more family time , did get a little painting in though, and Chinese buffet to celebrate .

Redid the shirt color, the yellow was not working for me. Let me know what you think of the white, or give me other color ideas.

i think the fella needs a stronger color on his shirt... he looks not spiffy enough with the grey and then only white shirt... something like red or a green?...where did you get the scheme idea again? a certain beer label i recall?

@dave, there's no trees on necromunda, nothing can grow and thrive except fungus. But there are hatches on the roof, for servitors to go up and get the gutters clean. And polish the targeting lense on the launchers.

@vik, not any specific beer label, just a yellow beer. I might put on an accent color, or a freehand of some type as well as his player number. Just figured the lighter colors would help camouflage them on their raids in their icy home. The team is the "frosty mugs", so a cold glass beer mug color is where I was going.

Not a lot done but got the skin minus tattoos finished. Also started on the base color for the pants.


Church this morning and parents house for dinner, so probably no updates until late tonight.

well then i suggest maybe some blue and white checkers? that would look cool...kinda like the bavarian (i always read barbarian) flagg^^

Darker color does look better. Went with blue, like the sea the Norse would be crossing. With white shoulders and number spot on back, let me know what you think.

i think this looks way better!... the shield for the number is a good idea!... i would suggest using a decal then for the number...and also i would suggest now a heavy wash all over and to redo some of the surfaces afterwards... do get some definition into these big spaces!

Okay vik, give it to me, what does the lycan need? Besides a darker contrasting color. I think I need to rethink my color selection and just go dark blue with them all , heading to the basement to paint before we leave for parents house.

i think a matching scheme for all is an essential... but then again you don´t use the wolf with the vikings, am i right?... i think the wolf otherwise could do with a splash of red?...
i was more thinking about adding a bit of depth and highlights to the fur...but i could be wrong as you could have done that already...pics ain´t showing that tho...

wowza! earier on i didn´t see the strips on the pants... i like that a lot!

but i gotta ask... does the puppy have a hunchback?...the last pic looks like ...also... you need to do chalklines on the bases... otherwise it looks too bland and also they get instantly regocnized!

Haven't touched the bases except to put the base layer green on it. It will get green flock, and chalk lines to match my Orc team bases. The doggy has a slightly hunched back, but it's supposed to show off ho he has transformed and ripped his jersey during the change.

Just back from parents house, will hopefully get to do some painting again. Our youngest twin is staying till Wednesday at grandmas.

We have been doing lots of family stuff, it's not all painting. Legos is the name of the game for the morning while the oldest and my wife have girl time. Also got some pictures hung and all my sons clothes moved into his new room as soon as we got home. Family movie night will begin shortly, so painting happens in spurts. Also looking at the budget tonight with the wife...before other stuff. You know father to father

love the munda terrain needs some paint and some pigments to make it suptibley grimey theis other guy was using self adhesive pigments kinda neat and came out great.

Leg tattoo and arm chains on both. Werewolf has a sun on its chest you cannot see, still purple, all tattoos will be purple to try and tie everything together.

im not a fan of football either but i love me some online blood bowl if you ever fancy a game against some one else.

Haven't tried the online version yet. Played the steam single player, and trying to set up time with brother in law to even do online. Might give it a go this week to see what I can do.
