Subject: Making centstar work - the star is easy, what makes the cut for the supporting army?

So basically I've hit a brick wall with list building lately
I'm pretty much set on what the centstar includes but the remaining army is where I'm struggling.
I've tried simply paying the troop taxes and chalking those guys up to dead or walk on reserves and it leaves a lot to be desired honestly because I hate having basically useless or easy to kill units on the table.
I even tried a double centstar list with the Libby conclave with some success but it was a struggle each game to pull a victory mostly due to time restraints (it's a slow playing army with all the psychic and step by step maneuvers) and then also it was basically just two units popping around trying to kill stuff every turn (one squad generally weaker than the other) while the opponent just slowly widdled them down while out scoring me
What are some suggestions? Anyone have a good supporting cast they run for centstar these days?

I run 1 huge Centstar and the rest is troops. This is my previous version (pre-Conclave):
GK Libby - Lvl 3, Hammer
Draigo
Cypher
5x Strikers
Tigurius
Captain - 2+, Auspex, Bike, PF, Shield Eternal
3x5 Scouts in Land Speeder Storms
5x Grav Centurions w/Omniscope
Coteaz
Cypher gives the unit Shroud to protect them from most shooting. He also gives them Hit-&-Run to get them out of combat. He's also a threat to MSU units. Scouts in LSS gives me 6 very fast ObSec units.
Basically, how I deal with MSU is to Gate near the heart of my opponent's army....and then I split them up. Always keep either Draigo or Cypher with the unit to prevent them from being locked up in cc, but otherwise, Smashmaster goes after a unit and either Draigo or Cypher will go after another unit. Draigo and Smashmaster is fairly resilient by themselves and can survive a ton of firepower. Cypher, you want to have him near or in ruins for the 2+ cover so best to send him after MSU units camping on objectives in ruins.
You also have to go for some Psychic Shooting as well. Shriek is a must. Then with 1 psyker, I usually go for Biomancy powers (at least I will get Smite, which is decent against MEQ's and pretty good with Perfect Timing).
This army is actually a very good assault threat as well and can take on a wide range of enemy units in Assault. Invisibility makes them survivable against other assault units. Hammerhand and Force makes them even a threat to wraithknights and Imperial Knights with up to 5 S9 AP2, 3 S8 AP4, 3 S10 AP2 and 3 S8 AP2 attacks - all with Force - as well as 4 S10 AP2, 2 S9 AP2, 11 S7 and 2 S6 attacks, all re-rolling hits because of Prescience.
Currently, I am running the Star with the Librarius Conclave. Drop the Smashmaster, drop Cypher and drop Coteaz. I then bring in Sevrin Loth, 2 2+/3++ librarians and 1 more unit of ObSec scouts in LSS. I do lose automatic Shrouding and Hit-&-Run. I lose my anti-deepstrike defense and I lose the Smashmaster, but in return, I get guaranteed Invsibility and Shrouding, more reliable casting of my psychic powers and 1 more fast ObSec scoring unit.

I didn't think you could take Loth with the conclave. Did FW/GW put out an FAQ for it? According to the SM Codex you are only given permission to substitute in Tiggy

He's not with the Conclave. Tiggy is. Loth is with the Space Marine CAD.

I know someone emailed Fw and got back an answer saying you can replace any character in the formations with a FW version if it makes sense, hopefully they'll update properly so you don't have to carry an email to pickup games

Better to take both in a way since you can truly dominate the psychic phase and cherry pick your key powers
