I got a gallent box haven't looked at 7th codex but have 6th.
Can someone say what knight they would run and why? Maybe even more than one like one gallent box and 2 paladin boxes

Im a fan of the Crusader personally, all that firepower, its like a mini Warhound titan *drools slightly* .... oh sorry.
Honestly all of them are pretty good, the main difference between the Gallant, Errant and the Paladin are their gun and that some have the Gauntlet instead of the Sword. Also chucking vehicles is great.

Gauntlet sucks. Paying points for a downgrade FTW. Go for either the minigun or double Battlecannon with D-weap

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"
"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"
"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"
"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!" |

They all have their strengths. And biggest weakness is flyers. I'm going to be playing a gallants lance and see how they go. The fist is pretty much a downgrade for fun of throwing haha. Gallants have sword and fist so can have fun with tanks if wanting too.

One hidden benefit of the Thunderstrike Gauntlet though - since you're forced to go at Initiative 1, you're always going to be able to Stomp (since Stomp happens at I1).
Hitting at I4 with the Reaper Chainsword means you might end the combat before you get to I1, and thus not be able to Stomp.

A single one may not be that strong.
But if you take two or three, they are a force to reckon with.

Excluding the extra point cost could the gauntlet be better? Does haywire or gauss hurt them cause my friend said they did but it says they can only be hurt by explodes and then its d6 hullpoint

Invincible behemoth rule makes explode results or instagib into a d3 hp loss.
not sure if auto glance works on invincible behemoth.
StrD however still takes away d3 hp on rolls of 2s-5s. A roll of 6s will remove d6+6 hp.
I cant believe j watched 2 Wraithknights with glaives murder 3 Imperial Knights before any got to swing back.
